That photo looks so awkward and badly photoshopped.  At least to me, it looks like individual shots pasted together instead of a group photo with Sehun photoshoped into later.  Don't get me started on the hair...

Probably because Sehun is the most popular K member in China. And Sehun's well received within Luhan's C-fandom so they wouldn't get batshit that a member replaced their bias. In fact they'll probably think it's some OTP thing.
