C-JeS and Loen settled their shits about Xia Junsu's Album + promotional activities will be done online and offline

C-JeS Entertainment announced that it and Loen Entertainment had reached an agreement on the marketing of JYJ Kim Junsu′s upcoming album.

On July 10, it announced through an official press release that the two companies had made amends.

Baek Chang Joo, head of C-JeS Entertainment, told enews through the release, "Our dispute with Loen yesterday has come to a suitable agreement. We met with high level officials from Loen in the evening and received a confirmation that Loen would go on with the distribution of Junsu′s second studio album and other marketing promotions as initially planned."

He added, "You will be able to watch Junsu′s showcase through Melon TV, and Loen will be able to keep its promise with Melon users. Online promotions for Junsu′s second studio album have also recommenced, letting us showcase his music and performances to those who love his music."

C-JeS revealed on July 9 that Loen had refused to market Junsu′s second studio album just six days before its release.

I know. This company is just so fucked up. They are the ones who suck at promotion considering no one even knew he released a new song and is coming out with an album.

 

So you're going to try and make someone else look bad for some free publicity? I'm tired of seeing their fans act like this company is so goody-to-shoes or however you spell that word lol but they're not.

 

Any CEO knows to get written contracts especially with something as important as promotions for an artist. The company is hell bent on making it seem like JYJ are always victims and they're heroes coming to save the day when in the end it all just seems like media play to keep JYJ on the news.

 

I don't care if their fans neg posts or whatever. This company is shady

 

 

 

^ they should have at least tried negotiating behind the scenes. From what I read the first day they automatically went to news outlets the second Leon called to cancel

As usual, the "know it alls" are quick to enter a JYJ thread and spiel nonsense.

Amazing, how they always know exactly what is happening behind the scenes.

Truly amazing the mind-reading skills they have, smh.

 

I guess big, powerful LOEN was so afraid of CJeS, they caved and it wasn't that they were trying to screw Junsu 5 days before his album release.

No, CJeS just made it all up. And it wasn't like earlier in the day, LOEN admitted to pulling out, no that was shady CJeS cosplaying as LOEN.

Stay classy folks and remain judgmental always.

Happy to see that C-Jes and Loen Entertainment were able to come to an agreement in regards to releasing and promoting Incredible because it's shaping up to be one of the stronger releases this year. Looking forward to seeing Junsu getting the promotion and marketing that he deserves to have surround Incredible. Loen Entertainment has always been commendable and resourceful as a company and them planning to drop his promotions last minute felt out of character and unnecessary but they've handled everything. Waiting for Incredible to get released and hoping not a single thing or sound is changed from the teaser.

Thank you. Seems like some mid-level boss got pressured and caved to outside forces.

However, when the higher ups stepped in, the issue was resolved.

Unfortunately, it required raising a shitstorm and public outrage for the higher ups to step in.

It's funny how some people are talking about the verbal contract, when CJeS/Junsu and LOEN have had a relationship for over a year, even cross promoting each other's artists, so you can imagine how hurtful it was to have the carpet yanked under them at the last minute, and have their requests ignored, notices ignored and even warning of releasing the info to the media ignored. But, of course it is easier to blame CJeS, while sucking at the tits of another company, because it is the Kpop way. I guess CJeS was supposed to just take it as they were screwed, because they are the little guy.

 

ps. you are right, this album is shaping up to be an amazing release, can't wait.

Exactly my thoughts about whole case. CJes played pretty risky game to give a plea about Loen to gain attention Loen didn´t even dream about.

Well if it is then it is damn effective however, was it a smart move? There's a risk of both CJeS and LOEN tarnishing their reputations.
