'Why can't people be happy for me?': Backstreet Boy Nick Carter 'cuts ties with parents'

His year started off on a high note when he married long term girlfriend Lauren Kitt.

And although all is going swimmingly in his romantic life, the same can't be said for Nick Carter's relationship with his family.

According to RadarOnline, the 34-year-old musician is said to have cut all ties with his mother and father amid rumours they have been using him for his money.

 

In October, Nick tweeted a sad message to his followers 'Wish my mother would stop sending hurtful and hateful emails to me and my wife. Can't people just be happy for me? Or leave me alone. #hurt'

Although he didn't go into more detail about the cause of the tension with his mother, a source revealed to Radar: 'Nick is feeling pressure and heartache from his family when all he wants to be doing is concentrating on enjoying married life'

A source told the publication: 'The family has always been after him.

'They’re always wanting something from Nick...money or support, or this and that. It's never like, "We love you. We care about you." It's always been like, "We need this and we need that."'

 

And it seems that relations have always been strained between his new wife Lauren, 26 and Nick's mother, Jane.

An insider said: 'They've never gotten along, Lauren just says how it is, the truth and they can’t get away with manipulating Nick now anymore.

'Lauren is just kind of sad,' the source says. 'She loves Nick and wants him to be happy, but when they're attacking him like that, it puts her in a weird, awkward situation too.' 

 

And after the star finally cut contact with his parents, tensions flared. The insider said: 'The whole thing comes down to money, money, money,

'He’s cut them off and that’s when people get nasty. So he’s cut all ties up. He’s no longer talking to them.'

I remember that. It wouldn't surprise me honestly... And with how popular BSB was and still is. 

 

I feel bad for Nick. I don't blame him for putting it on sns. It's good to let out your feelings and talk with people about stuff that's bothering you and maybe also as a way to say "hey this is going on if anything happens" sort of thing. 

 

Poor guy. I'm glad he has someone like his wife with him who can be real with him and not the bs that a lot of celeb kids have to deal with from parents etc who are out for themselves a lot of times.

i always find this stuff so bizarre... why passive aggressively address the personal emails you are getting from your mother... to the world. I don't care what your mother is sending you... work it out privately...

 

unless ofc... it's a storyline for the next episodes of your reality series......... :donthinkso:

 

 

anywayyyy we already know his mother is shady/crazy (according to Carter kids)..... Aaron emancipated himself when he was a teen.
