Usually when there is talk about the "other subunits" everyone's like "dem bishes cant sing they cant sing nothin they not gone be able to sing" so I think it'd be a good idea to do trot with maybe an electro pop twist, ya know spinkle some of that SM magic. Sooyoung and Yuri did so well with Kkok, add Hyoyeon to twerk doing the dance break, and it will be OT3 trifecta

Anything SNSD releases is going to be popular. Whatever they do, they get positive reviews even when they don't deserve it. IGAB was so praised as if it was the best thing ever released, but it made my ears bleed before I could finish listening to it.

Isn't it the opposite though? Last time I checked, there were about 5-10 hate/wank threads per hour were made when it was released, and a lot of people said it was the worst kpop song ever.

what... idk how well trot and SNSD would do haha. that's such a weird combination imo but as you said, that OST actually wasn't that bad.  anyways, regardless of what i think, it's still SNSD. it'd still be a hit regardless though.

I was talking about the AKP review. Fortunately here there are some that admit when they hear a bad song. I am capable to admit that my biases make bad or simply boring songs and I wish more people could admit it too about their favorite bands.

Actually there are lot of Sones that don't like IGAB, but you can't just tell everyone to make them say it's bad when they actually like and enjoy it.

After all, it comes down to opinions. Music is subjective.

Why couldn't AKP simply just really like the song? I genuinely think the song is a masterpiece. An abstract masterpiece, but beautiful nonetheless.

 

But anyway, maybe as like a secondary promotional song, kinda like how Baby Steps was with Twinkle. It would appeal to an older/different audience I think, and could possibly increase profit, since fans would buy the mini, while trot fans would just buy the song. Idk, it was just a crazy idea in my head, I don't think these things through...
