This issue is small to me. cause half of us fans are doing exactly what there complaining about . Fans act like they don't call people ugly or speak out there minds when there with there close friends..  Most of us curse, and I would rather him give away the gifts if he is not going to use it then throw my money away. Also no one else is disturbed by the fact this was his private account conversation between him and his girlfriend and close friends. I mean this was not even a public account of his.. 

i was lurking because hentai seungri talked about hongsi mess on twitter and no this is a big misunderstanding. both accounts were public. his second IG after m&m was always public until he deleted it last week. i can say so because i (and a few people from this thread) got to see/ lurk the accounts directly.

idk though if selcas with fans or fantakens also mean updates for you, but there were so many selcas with fans and pics of him at labros back in May, some selcas, pictures at labros and fantakens in June and  a few pics at labros and even an update about him and his ex boss appearing in a magazine.

I actually agree with this. I've always thought idols give away fan gifts to band mates/staff when there's too much anyways..

I guess so if you look at it that way, but I think because his girlfriend bragged about it on IG, and those gifts did seem quite expensive, it isn't unreasonable for some fans to be angry. Most people, when giving away stuff, they wouldn't really let the other person know. Hongseok is still a trainee so he shouldn't have such a huge fanbase, that he will get too many. But yes, I do agree with you on how this issue is being handled though. From the timing to how Korean fans are quick to shoot down everything he says. If the Korean fans knew about all these issues beforehand, something must have triggered them to do this. If both of him and his girlfriend IG accounts were public, then I also get the feeling that Hongseok was still considering his options whether he still wants to continue being an idol. He's quite naive if he stayed in this personal relationship, knowing of the consequences. Some of the information that they posted, very few would know, so I also wonder if sasaengs are also involved with this.

 

 

If we look at this from a different perspective, besides the gift issue (it depends on the fan) the rest of it is rather subjective.

Yes, some people would be disappointed, but burning/ripping up his stuff and abusing him to oblivion is a bit too much. Even for what has happened. I think the same issue happened with Kim Woobin, but that didn't really affect him much. Maybe if Hongseok broke up with her, then Korean fans would let it go, but I don't know. Its better for him to stay quiet and leave it be. If people want to stop supporting him, thats up to them.

I was searching for info about one of my favourite groups (CLC) and found out that Hongseok went to Beautiful Show (Beast's concert that happens every year) with other 6 trainees. Beauties thought that they were BTOB and started to scream at them.
