I cannot see this "Ideal situation" happening, tbh. Too good to be true.

 

 

I actually wish for Jinhy to go back to musicals.

His singing, dancing and acting skills won't go to waste.

His voice will be better handled & he can charm the female audience with that smile of his.   

 

Seok will be better off with a group with not so many members. He'll be able to show his charming self   

Many groups out there have superior vocals but aren't recognized. I hope this won't happen to them.

I would love to see Hongseok as a solo artist, but I don't also mind with Jinhyung either.

I think JinSeok would be much better as a duo since they already have followers.

 

They can give each other support and also bitch about YG win-win situation.

After IKON debuts, YG are not going to debut another boy group after a good couple of years...it would be too late for Hongseok then.

Hongseok I think has a really good chance of being recast into a different company. He's got a unique look, and he has the mien of someone who can easily go solo. I'm worried for Jinhyeong though. The Iljin rumours were devastating. I'm worried about what company would take him in after that, and whether they would spend much time in helping him to prepare. 

 

This is why I think he should stick with Hongseok.

^ Agreed. They even asked the MC actress to vote as a judge too...what's her qualification? Shouldn't she vote just like an audience member? Not hating on her but I'm sure all those votes were just for show..

 

Also, I think there was a screencap of the poll results on FB somewhere in the ikon thread. Idk how legit it was but it was showing Hongseok as being ranked second place after June. Judging from the general reaction, there are a lot of people who supported Jin and Hong, so pretty sure they got decent amount of votes each. It was all rigged

 

Jinhyeong and Hongseok were never going to be picked for IKON. YG decided it was going to be Chanwoo from the start, so did everything to make sure that the voters swayed for him. Thankfully, some of us wasn't that oblivious to what was happening...but for Korean and Chinese fans in particular it was too late. At least the Japanese fans voted for Jinhyeong.

 

Yes, there was a lot of hype for JinSeok even more so than Chanwoo himself. I'm also hearing that the judges voted for Jinhyeong too? so on that basis... shouldn't it have been really between Jin and Hong?
