My wild imagination of tomorrow's meeting:

While waiting to meet YG, JinSeok discuss among themselves ; which company has contacted them already, the support they got online, their future plans to become a singer etc. They hope they can cut off all ties with YG already, they were mentally traumatized and emotionally scarred because of him. YG comes in and both of them stood up to bow before sitting down, looking at him expectantly. YG gave them both his signature goosebumps-inducing smile and said, 

"You two trash really messed up my plan."

He continued, "I thought I could threw both of you out already without anyone missing you two by cutting off your screentime and releasing the rumours but no, your troublesome fans had to become a nuisance and save you."

 

Hongseok was clenching his fist, frowning, not believing what he just heard. He realized Jinhyeong was stiff beside him and he was staring daggers at YG. 

 

YG licked his lips and continued, "Your popularity will be useful for the company. Listen closely to my plans. As of today, Yang Hongseok and Jung Jinhyeong, both are you will stay as a trainee in YG. I won't let you off that easily to debut and steal the spotlight from my IKON babies. By the time IKON debuts and the new girlgroup debuts too, the public will no longer remember both of you. Then will I let both of you go, and let's see how you struggle to achieve your crushed dreams as a singer. Oh, my phone is ringing.." 

 

YG stood up, trying to look for his phone. Hongseok stood up too, fuming and said, "Ah, so that's how it is.."

Without a moment's hesitation, he punched YG.

"Wh-what do you think you are doing! I won't allow this!!" screeched YG. Jinhyeong rolled his eyes and produced a recorder from his pocket. "We recorded everything you say. Now, if you don't want us to release this and your company to hit rock-bottom, let us go from this messed up company."

 

And that is the story how Yang Hongseok and Jung Jinhyeong became the most successful duo in the music industry, while IKON is struggling with their maknae leaving the group and all.

I was watching Long Time No See with the eng subs and I can't help but to imagine the relevance of the song when JinSeok debuts later. The lyrics are so on point if you look at it as Bobby's part in the beginning as in coming from our point of view while the rest of the song as In coming from JinSeok's point of view.

By the way, I've been wondering this about the results of YG artists/producers votings. As the number of votes Donghyuk and Yunhyeong got were equal and they were both no. 2, while Hongseok got 0 votes, does that means some of them actually wanted OT5 (5th being Yunhyeong/Donghyuk) + Jinhyeong and Chanwoo?

Even if it's a slim chance, there is a possibility of both Hongseok and Jinhyeong AND Yedam debuting together under YG even after 3 years of training, where Hongseok will be 23 years old. Take 2NE1 for example. Bom and Dara was 24 years old when they debuted, and that's two people already. Minzy, the maknae was 15 years old then. There's a 9 year age gap between the oldest and youngest member.

 

Say, by 2017, Hongseok will be 23 and Jinhyeong 20 while Yedam will be 15. If they debut by then and add another member along the way, the situation will be similar to 2NE1, and see how successful they are. By then, BIGBANG will probably will not be active with military enlistment, CL will be promoting in the States (hopefully with 2NE1 too by then), IKON, WINNER and YG's new girlgroup will have a solid and stable fanbase and I don't think YG's going to debut any new idols for at least 2-3 years after the new YG girlgroup. So yeah, we might get to see Hongseok and Jinhyeong debuting together under YG.

 

I can wait for 3 years.

I can't imagine IKON now covering Winner's Empty for a special performance during concerts or whatever. But imagine if it was OT5+JinSeok.. Junhoe will be singing Mino's part in the beginning (because B.I just can't..), Jinwoo and Taehyun's parts will be sang by Jinhyeong, Hongseok and Yunhyeong (damn the falsetto!!), and Junhoe with Hongseok singing Seungyoon's part at the end. Too bad now that's impossible.

Headline: Yang Hong seok cried because of IKON

Basically they mentioned about Hong Seok not expecting himself to be so depressed with the thought of saying goodbye to the other members. Him and Jinhyeong's dreams not fulfilled with the announcement of Donghyuk as the 7th member. iKON's performance for BIGBANG's concert in Nagoya later. Didn't mention anything about Jinseok training in YG for another year though.

 

But wow, even IKON or Chanwoo have never appeared in the papers before this, yet Hongseok was the first one to do so.
