Welcome everybody to Jeopardy: Onehallyu Edition! Instead of Alex Trebeck being your host, it is me: Pon! I Was Pon to be a host. ayyyy. Anyways please join me in this battle of trivia knowledge!


 


Gameplay


 


For those who've never watched Jeopardy, it's a simple trivia like game. I suggest watching the video below to understand the basis of how it works:

For those who have watched it, it'll basically follow actual Jeopardy except it'll be in teams.


There'll be 5 categories, each with 5 questions. The questions range in difficulty and the amount of tokens they are worth. So easier questions will be worth 2 tokens, hardest questions are worth 10 tokens. The first person to get the question right will win the amount of tokens the question is worth for their team and they'll get to choose the next question for the round.


 


At the end after all questions have been answered, there'll be a final jeopardy. This is where you guys can put up an amount of tokens and if you answer the final question right, you double that amount, if you answer it wrong, we'll subtract it from your won pot.


 


Rules


 


- You do NOT have to put down "Who is? What is?" in your answer. You can just answer normally.


- The first person to answer correctly, wins the round for their team, so anyone from your team can try to answer the question.


- A round will last up until the answer is given. So if you don't get it right, keep going until someone does.


- There'll be two chances in the game to replace inactive team members. So when that chance pops up, please be honest when stating who is inactive and who is not.


- The prize pot is split between the team. We'll round up the token count to the nearest higher 5/0.


- There'll be an additional 5 tokens given to the MVP of each team.


- PLEASE BE ACTIVE. IF YOU ARE NOT, YOU WILL BE REPLACED.

Everything is first come, first serve. You can only sign-up for yourself + 1 other person BUT they MUST comment in this thread by TOMORROW or else they WILL be replaced by someone else.

Prizes


 


The prizes for this game will of course be tokens~ Everybody playing will get tokens because your token count will depend on the amount of tokens your team wins.


 


At the end of the game, we will divide each team's token count by 5 to share among you. So if you guys win 50 tokens total from the game, each of you will get 10 tokens each.


 


If you guys have a number that isn't divisible by 5, we will round the number up to the nearest number ending in 5 or 0. So let's say you have 41 tokens. We'll round it up to 45 so you guys will get 9 tokens each.


 


In addition, there'll be a MVP for each team and that person will get an additional 5 tokens!
