Is it possible to get rid of this paranoia?

I don't know if im the only one but I always tend to wake up 30 mins to an hour before my alarm goes off. Whether it be for school or some kind of event, I just wake up. I try to go back to sleep but then I keep waking up 5+ mins afterwards and its a cycle if I go back to sleep again before I have to get up.

I don't know if it's because I have this fear of being late but i hate living this lifestyle (its been years  :rlytearpls: ).

Is there any way I can do to stop this? This only happens when I have my alarm on  :._.:

If it's making you anxious then maybe you should seek professional help?

I mean this happened to me a few times throughout my life. It only usually happens when I'm suppose to wake up for something really important, for instance, if I have an early flight, or a big exam, etc.

that ain't paranoia

that's your built-in alarm clock

i have it too

sleep 30 minutes earlier

i'd worry if it forced you to wake up within the 3 hour mark before your desired time

Oh really? oops

Will sleeping 30 mins help in stopping this? I try to sleep earlier some days but I usually can't so I stop

Well, it's not really a huge deal but it does make me feel super tired/sleepy throughout the school day orz

I have this too. I know it can be rather annoying at times but I just got out of bed and continued on with my day whenever I'm awake because I can't go back to sleep after I woke up.

Are you perhaps nervous to go to school for some reasons? It sounds like your consciousness that's waking you up.

I also feel like this could trigger myself to wake up. Like, i don't feel nervous or scared at all when I go to school but I usually wonder if i would be doing any projects/presentations/talks soon in class (and i hate those; especially when im in the center of attention)

But this also happens when i need to wake up for early flights, etc. so idrk what to do anymore

At least you can sleep. I can't sleep. It takes 4-5 hours to fall asleep for me :horror:

I only sleep 2 hours a night.

omg I used to have insomnia too!! But then my mom took me to a Chinese doctor and made me drink this bitter herbal medicine and idk if it was that that "cured" me  :derp:

that really sucks, have you seek professional help for that?

I know, I can never be late to school for the same reasons. It doesn't even take a presentation to give me pressure, just the fact that being late in my school makes it so hard to go into class. It's just, school as a reason. :\ Thankfully I've graduated but I still do not need any alarms till now.

If it starts to affect you too much, I would suggest you might need to see a doctor.
