apparently he's only 15!! holy shit, though. the lyrics are a little too direct sometimes, imo, which clashes with the figurative nature of the video and ambiance of the music itself, but pretty awesome imo.

the video creeped me the fuq out.

the shots of the other kids turning around is FREAKY and even though it's robotic it feels so real (as in, this is how our society IS a lot of the time, which is why it chilled me).

and the scenes with benny going crazy with the blue and pink paint were beautiful and breathtaking~~ i wish there was a little more of that because the glimpses we see are each like 1/3 of a second.

I don't get this... I mean when things are better than ever it seems as if people are complaining more than ever about how bad things are...

maybe because there are still problems?

the reason there's more complaining now is because of several reasons:

1. you're older and notice more stuff like this

2. it's gained traction with the public and is not being hidden/ignored

3. it's easier than ever before to create and share media

actually, the younger generation up until recently was getting criticized for not having some big social movements. the older generation drove things like the civil rights movement and the whole entire crazy hippy/free love/anti-war counter-culture.

Umm, people this kid's age aren't doing much to affect real change seeing as how he can't even vote. It's people who are older doing that. And the younger kids tend to be quite... flighty with their issues. They also look for problems where there aren't really any.

I just simply don't feel sorry for a lot of LGBT youth nowadays. It's like they're weaker than ever when the world is more supportive than ever. I mean what are they going to do when they leave their coddled childhoods and enter the real world?

yeah gender roles are making quite a big mistake i mean.

for men and women to have relationships or understand each other they must carry both a masculine and female essence.

Society teaches us guys that to earn the woman of your dreams, or any woman you must be as masculine as you can be. That only creates  a greater rift of the ability of men and women to understand each other.

slayyyyyyyyyy

First the elephant in the room: Benny can't sing sheet :imstupid: ; second the taste of the video it's at least questionable, but i'm sure it's the wet dream of any gay to play lady gaga ( in this era ) on a MV

a lot of gay men hate lady gaga

maybe in time... people generally being more idealistic at a younger age is true though
