The MV- Everything I disliked about Crossroads was thankfully abandoned and is completely non-exsitant here. Apple is an actual MV, a GFriend MV. CHOREOGRAPHY! We get plenty of CHOREOGRAPHY in the actual video. The entire ambiance was just great, espcially in the first half. Now, not gonna lie, the second half kinda shocked me at first with how dark and intense it was. But still, I liked it. I was especially pleased with how much screentime Umji got. Everyone looked gorgeous, the scenery looked gorgeous, the burning tree was really cool, and overall, this was a grand improvement over Crossroads. The Album- Perfect. Nothing to say other than perfect. Seriously, I love each and every song. Eye of the Storm, Room of Mirrors, and Tarrot Cards are my absolute faves (2 of which Umji contributed to ). I also really love Apple. I wasn't too sure about it from the teasers, but I love it Creme Brule is super cute and Stairs in the North is so calming and serene The Choreography- I like the choreography. It's very pretty and entincing. I does have same the issues I have with many GFriend dances, which is that there will be points were one girl is covered because she's standing directly behind whoever is front and center. However, it didn't seem to happen that much here, though that may have been due to the camera work. I'd need to see it head on with no fancy camera work to fully judge. Seems like it's always going to take fancy camera work to allow everyone to be seen. Oh well, the dance is still really nice regardless. The editing back and forth at the end looked pretty cool. That said, I can see now why they also wouldn't want to have to perform a b-side in addition to all of this.
