Exactly, I'm respect the girls choice, my worries are their future path which comp they signing. Wow my last post was last 2018 and I am back because of the news popping out and all I am thinking is my buddies here

I am so sad when reading the news, but will always cheer for the girls even though they have their separate paths but still thinking they are not since even though they leave SouMu they are still the best of friends and they felt genuine for me from the start so I am still hoping this is just a Label change for them to have bigger opportunities. 

We are always their buddies til the end.

I will want the girls statement later or these few days. Because there are a lot spreading wrong info even some translated article . i just saw one said Soumu told them it actually implies as the "D" but Soumu didn't say that.

I'm... so confused?  Like I think I'm in shock a little bit.  I guess it makes sense, thinking about how they emphasized Mago was the end of the storyline, but I was nearly certain they would renew.  They've had so much promotion the past few months with all the HYBE stuff, so much music they've said is unreleased, and they're all leaving?  I feel like such a clown if I say that they must be getting folded into HYBE at large, but seriously, I don't even want to think about the d word.  There's still so much that doesn't make sense.  Maybe SouMu is being disintegrated?  But that doesn't add up either.

Yeah I read that tweet but anyone can say that. But we will see what the future holds. Either way it will be nice when the girls say something of their own.

 

It would be one thing if they stopped activities and such, but they had 3 comebacks last year and kept print things like Sowon’s cover video. It’s just a shock no matter which way you cut it.

Ohh I also thought so for a second. I've been thinking just now, maybe Soumu staff all move under Min Hee's label (if is true) then CEO So just being the shareholder of HYBE only. But I don't want to give high hopes on this. I do agree it doesn't add up. Esp. when yerin just got her mc project. I'm sure the MC project deal is signed with Yerin & Soumu. (this is about profit earning; still most deal for the girls recent project are most likely signed with Soumu) So if they already intend to leave as a group why bother to do this?? I never heard of project deal transfer though. The wait from the girls are killing me

Yes, true. I still in shock. i think a few are shocked because some didn't even think they will not re-sign. Anyway kmedia or translated account mentioned the "d" are never a surprised to me, they did it to other idols before and some of those idols have been emphasizing in many times many yrs they are not disband but some translated kpop account & media love to say they disband. So until now the "D" will never be in my dictionary for the girls unless the girls mentioned themselves

SouMu has done such a half assed job managing them but this is a new low, it's beyond vile. SouMu was NOTHING before GFriend, they single handedly carried that company on their backs and this is what they get in return. The only reason SouMu is at HYBE is because of GFriend and now they're kicked to the curb so they can fund a new GG with the money and resources they made of GFriend's years of hard work without even having the least amount of human decency to give tem a proper farewell. The fact that all 6 of them declined to renew the contract says everything we need to know. SouMu knows where they can shove their precious new gg.

Even if they redebut in another company with a different name, they won't be able to use their older music, right?

Ohh I saw a highlight fan mentioned, highlight can still perform their songs. Also I've seen a few 2nd gen idol that left entirely from their comp, they still peform their songs on stage (e.g SS501, I using them because they are similar to GFRIEND's case now; I think SS501 members still using their group name/subunit name before; they also perform their songs on stage/music show/ MMGT. Though i don't remember did DSP trademark SS501 group name before , I do think they did.

So I think everything need negotiation. Unless someone come out & said no (not from Soumu) , like what happened to H.O.T

Source has a ton of debt, so I think there was some mismanagement somewhere there. Granted no concerts but still, they don’t have much money it seems.

yeah Highlight just did a medley of their older hits! I think it’s regarded as covers, so I don’t know if they can sell them though.

Yup, I can't 100% say is possible they can perform.  Because for SS501 case, they are close their ex -CEO not the current CEO of DSP but they know her since is their EX-CEO's wife .Similarly I'm  not 100% sure the other department heads but most likely they also close with them.

so I think negotiation is the only thing for all this copyright things for the girls & their future comp.

I don't remember other 2nd gen idol case & so far I don't think they have cb or so. So I can't tell as for Highlight , I saw it from a highlight fan to a buddy on twitter . So I not 100% sure. But I still think everything like performing their discography all lies on their negotiation with Soumu & maybe composers (though I doubt composer will give a prob, so mainly on Soumu for the girls case)

The thing which i concerning is their career path will they continue their career. because some left kpop entirely. So until now we don't have news of signing/rumors signing a new agency so this is what is killing me. I need to know what is their mind first esp. about career. So where each of them go or signing as a group is the main issue here. the rest can wait.

Anyway I think those with buddy membership & vlive membership , please start archiving the girls content if you wish to still watch them in future. I don't know what will happen with those content now. Because Soumu is acting weird now.

Seriously I still feel a lot of things doesn't make sense. Totally not add-up, not talking about the HYBE INSIGHT , i don't want to say it but I still want to trust the girls
