I also think if they going to end,Soumu should at least make an announcement. However, I guess I'm the only minority who doubt it has ended. 

Why? Because of the teaser which they provided in buddy Membership a few months ago. The girls filmed a short teaser after their GFRIEND talk show & the girls were being filmed individually & saying the  sentence "Memoria coming soon". If is not for a new season of MEMORIA, then what is the PD's intention of filming a new "Memoria Teaser" & showed the behind filming and posted for Buddy Only? If they're not going to even use it, then why do they even bother to waste the girls time to film that teaser & their own time to film this & mentioned something like "only buddy with membership get to see it first". The word 'first' means it will appear in the future. Hence, that leads me to think even they mentioned on the highlight video last week "thank you for cherishing Memoria". To me they just another word for "treasuring/supporting" That sentence to me the staff are thanking fans for the support. But yes I do agree if so, they should have mentioned something like "thank you for the long-time support for Memoria , hope to see you soon" which they did for many times since the first S1.  Although that sentence sound more like an end more, I still  think is not MEMORIA has not  ended but maybe break like you said just maybe they have no idea when they will be back, maybe until the pd have  new ideas for their content. Another scenario is MEMORIA will change to another name but then the teaser is pointless.

In fact,  I really will not mind if is a 1 month break but I find it weird for choosing to have a break when the girls are not that busy. Their other label mate recent announced break on their regular series which I believe is due to their tight schedule. But the girls are still having a long break (ofc, I don't mind the girls having break but they can still film some MEMORIA content like 1/2  day or 1 day. Is not like an entire week or month.) 

I do wish Soumu will have other type of regular variety/reality show for the girls . If not , I feel by now they maybe left not much content taken from last yr.

ahh i didnt know about this! but yea i dont think Memoria will end soon lol at least not this year. especially after their Home Together episodes got such a good response!! 

I will say tho, that some of their activities, specifically the detective eps and the game friend eps, felt a bit - for the lack of a better word - tired?? in terms of the writing and planning at least (the girls are variety queens so i enjoying watching them) Hopefully this break serves the memoria team well bcos i know they can bring that quality especially seeing how they pulled off stuff like the one-half, cooking show, buddy high school and talk show episodes which were all so interesting!

Own personal view

Now that Yerin showed her new hair color; Umji somehow sound like she dyed her hair as well. I think Aug CB seems to be likely to be true now. Plus 17 just confirmed their cb in June which concide with the analysts ' guess provided (the one around 6th May), the table mentioned "17 grp cb will be in June & is their 8th mini" and today they announced is June 18;  8th mini album. so I think that table can said to be 60-70% accurate since I personally still do think these analysts did have some info from the company before releasing it esp. this is about all the HYBE artist 1st cb for the year.  I also I think ngg is in Jul maybe true too. now waiting this week or next week they will drop if not likely after bts or txt teaser schedule over.

Hence, I think the girls now is either recording or writing or preparing for photoshoot now.

I also prefer this way so Soumu can fully focus on the girls cb after the ngg debut

omg okay yea i just read the translation. i saw gfriend trending in twitter and the first thing that pops up is "please tell me this is a late April fool's prank" and my heart sank ,, hopefully they find a new agency! t.t

edit: was this an early termination on gfriend's part? or did their contracts just expire in May and the girls chose not to renew?

No one know is in May but the JPN Fan club is J-buddies twitter posting it out in Mar'21 when they received the notice & JPN website indeed mentioned the FANCLUB will end in 31st May. That time J-buddies on twitter kept asking Soumu & King Records to explain but none posted any announcement. Now I get why MEMORIA ended. Can they please hurry up post where they will sign to I want them to move as a grp.

i think we're all a bit confused and scared (perhaps hopeful or maybe hesitant to be too hopeful) but i just wanted to let you all know that if you want someone to talk to, i'm here.  gfriend and buddies have been a great comfort to me for over half a decade...we've shared a lot of emotions and discourse in this thread and i genuinely consider you all friends  let's have faith and show support no matter how things go

honestly everything is starting to make sense now. like you mentioned, memoria ending, jpn fan club ending. i guess all the subtle signs were there (the vlives, members kept talking abt long break, yuju's weverse post) but im just so caught off guard esp since things like hybe insight, solo scheds made it seem like soumi had long term plans for the girls. i wonder what made them decide on this tho...obviously i expected the 6 of them to stay tgt, but what couldve possibly convinced all 6 of them that soumu was not it
