I also need to watch vlives and I haven’t watched their latest show about Europe. I advice you to listen to the albums one day, all of them and to watch few vlives to go back on track. I don’t think you have to be embarrassed? Specially going to their concert and don’t know the fanchants or some songs. I also don’t remember all songs lyrics or how to sing and I really really don’t know the fanchants or at least not all of them. I think that trying to talk with us will also help you update yourself about them but then.. there’s not much discussion or sharing besides news :[ so maybe you can start talking here by posting photos or videos you like about them? It’s interesting. And buddies here are nice. More than just that, I think I'm neglecting them a lot of the time. Album wise I think I can do that without problem- I'm planning to revive their playlist in my Spotify anyway. VLIVE is a big problem to me- could never get used to it idk why. Nah, it's not that I'm embarrassed for not knowing fanchant or singalong, it's the activity I love the most at concerts, so when I couldn't do that I feel like I'm missing the satisfaction I'm having in concerts- Yeah. I guess I should start talking here- but ngl I'm pretty shy since this gonna take me back to learn more about them in older days too-- I hope I can cope with this thread ♥ Honestly, don't worry about it. If you like the girls and like the music then you're a fan. I mean, quite often, one of their b-sides will come up on shuffle and I can't remember off the top of my head what the title of the song is. I just know it's a GFriend song and I freaking love it. I am behind as hell on their shows, variety appearances, interviews, etc. Heck, I don't think I've even watched every single performance of TFTMN and Sunrise that they did on music show promos. But regardless, I love and adore them and I stan. I show my support through buying their music and that's my preferred way to show support. Others may choose to show their support differently. Ain't nobody telling I'm not a real fan/stan/whatever and I dare to write some essays on here every now and then I get the part when you said you always messed up the title of the songs that's happening in common. I guess I just forget about that part, where different people will support their faves differently. I just feel like I'm neglecting them despite saying that I like/love them the most. So I guess it hit me hard that way. Yeah I should start looking from different angle, different perspective. You sound like a buddy to me :P But seriously everyone has their ways of stanning, you even went to see them live so you're already ahead of most of us non-kr fans. I get you about not keeping up to date, the only thing I'm really up to date is their music, but everything else like vlive, variety & interviews is a different story. I'll watch them if I'm in the mood and even then I might give up because I find most vlive & interviews to be somewhat boring with a cute moment here and there, and with variety it can be pretty hit or miss for me. This isn't a drag to GFriend hehe because the same thing happens with my other kpop faves. Don't dwell to much on it, you don't have to breathe GFriend every hour of the day to be a buddy! This spare me some breathe. Sometimes I'm really occupied for going loud on other groups but not Gfriend. So I always feel bad most of the time. And yes, I can relate. I hardly watch vlives or interview or music shows. The other reason for me to feel mellow like this is probably that I feel like I spend more time for kpop to others rather than Gfriend, as if Gfriend is just a casual group that I like. So I kinda knocked hard about it. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ But really, thank you all so much. They seem to want to focus the first batch for Koreans first since their concert is first. sounds plausible-- i hope they still going to sell the merch at all the venues Gfriend_part is doing that b-sides cup. In the end, I'm pretty sure it will be Hear The Wind Sing vs Rainbow but You're Not Alone is seriously a strong song. What song do you think will win? Rainbow is just iconic- even the girls know it's one of buddies' favourites <3 oooh yes!! I love how it's such a cohesive album where all the songs 'belong' and idk, it just puts me in a good mood. Nothing has been able to top it so far and I'm actually quite surprised. I'd say as a whole album, The Awakening comes pretty close to LOL for me personally. It's a discussion where we are seeing how our tastes diverse personally, it's not about talking down on the music or sort. Me for example, engaging into this talk actually making me get back into discography and starts listening to them again. And that made me found out some songs that I like and used to listen a lot back then too. So, it's a good reminder for me if more than anything. Even more so, I even found out songs that I started to grow fond of as the discussion goes on.
