The only thing I'm disappointed about this comeback is the easy choreo but that is forgivable since this is just a short quick buzz comeback. I mean choreography doesn't need to be difficult to be good. Like bboom bboom and cheer up's choreo that everyone loves because it's easy to be danced by everyone. I enjoyed all concepts that gfriend had until now and dark concepts were part of it. But dark concept for a summer comeback isnt best idea like c'mon mate. And abt the choreography as i said before it doesnt need to be difficult to be perfect. Didnt t*ice win best dance award last year?its all about being catchy and gf's choreo is catchy and cute af. We can't expect the girls to go for an extremely tiring choreo just 2 months later than previous comeback and they are busy with concerts later. They cant put their health in risk. Next week will probably be SVT's full sweep aside the show for astro. If gfriend manages to rise a bit on charts they will start winning again on their 4th week but if no it will be 6 wins with the possible trophy on onkigayo tomorrow. Even Jpop groups are mostly aimed at their fandoms and Japan barely listens to their idols. They probably just wanted to experiment how Japan works for them, probably won't renew their contract like most groups. Idk how much should I trust the info that says the next cb's producer will be Labyrinth's and Labyrinth was promoted for experimenting. They could give it a try but also I won't complain about not having a comeback this year. First they would be more safe from virus and they could rest bit more. They could try doing something else and long hiatuses sometimes help with the hype for next comeback. My own preference would be something brighter like vacation. It's business after all. Gfriend used to be digital monsters at a time and then they were profitable through touring later. Ever since the pandemic happened, they could be none of the two options. So yea, according to their logic, why not remove Gfriend and at the same time trademark the name? Because even if they aren't the same Gfriend as 2016 when it comes to sales, the brand is still huge.
