The sun formation with a tonne of backup dancers was nice too. Their stylist did a good job picking outfits that suit both Sunrise and Fever (of all things I chose to observe LOL). They literally didn't even have the camera on her when she was doing her parts But anyway, it was nice seeing her have a stage with her good friends. Camerawork was better than the Yerin's collab stage but still leaves a lot to be desired. Idk why this camera person is so obsessed with shooting the audience, zooming out and shooting random angles that literally don't even show the choreography. Honestly loved both the SBS and KBS stages for this year! Too bad MBC missed out on the glorious performances that these girls can give. I tweeted about it earlier (and can add After School to the list for 2nd Gen) Reveal hidden contents I just find it an interesting fact that few girl groups do sad or bittersweet songs, and even fewer have hits with them like Gfriend has. Really cool observation and it makes me proud that GFriend has been able to find success despite the different sides and sounds that they show! Maybe it's my own bias for GFriend speaking but I really believe that part of their success with melancholic songs like Rough and TFTMN stems from how beautiful the lyrics are (and how interestingly gender-neutral they are). TFTMN lyrics are still probably my favourite of all their title tracks. It's a melancholic song but it's not all woeful. My assumption is that all GFriend content will continue to stay on their own channel and Source Music's which is good but I guess people will be able to see their playlist on Big Hit's channel as well. Spoiler Though we should prepare ourselves in the event that mountains out of molehills are made by overdramatic people who hate GFriend and Source Music. May we make more happy memories together for many years to come I remember when they first debuted, I only knew of their name because people were talking about them (both positively and negatively). I then checked out Glass Bead and enjoyed the song and thought their live stages were so full of energy unlike other rookies I saw at the time. I felt like there was something special to them and kept an eye out. I remember when the video teasers for Rough came out, I just had a feeling I was going to absolutely LOVE the song and it was going to be a great comeback. It made me so happy to see the song blow up. Then I decided to check out their Snowflake mini and loved every track. Rough era was such a special memory because I really fell in love with them and watched them closely since. There wasn't ever a single definitive moment when I decided to stan. I just kept following them and then everything just fell into place. I'm very excited about the hint on returning to their roots and how they can show something familiar, yet fresh and interesting.
