(ì—¬ìžì¹œêµ¬ or Yeoja Chingu) is a six-member girl group formed by Source Music Entertainment. They made their debut on January 15, 2015 with "Glass Bead" (EP: Season of Glass). According to their agency, the group wants to appeal to the public with their innocent appearance as well as their pure and lovable music. Since their debut, GFriend has garnered much attention for their upbeat and catchy songs accompanied by their powerful choreography. They have achieved considerable success, such a being the winners of several 2015 Female Rookie awards, several Music Show awards and more to come. They also gained immense popularity after a certain "Rainy Stage" incident, where the members (mostly Main Vocalist Yuju) in total fell 8 times. The fancam currently got over 10 million views and is still gaining.

As a Buddy, Miracle and most especially a MINE (I'm the OP of the official thread), it's disappointing seeing fandoms act so bitter towards other fandoms. It's not right to bash Buddies, and it's definitely not right to bash GFriend who have no control in what fans or The Show do. I kind of understand their position. They've been aching for a win for over 6 years, for fans that can be really frustrating and you get to a point where you're willing to do anything and everything to get a damn music show win. And 9Muses is basically the female equivalent of what UKiss was up until around a year or two ago, they're kinda known for being unknown. The underdogs. The ones who always get nominated for a show win, but can never actually win it.

 

A lot of MINEs were hoping that this week we'd be able to win, but I knew it was much more likely for GFriend to win this week. I said in the 9Muses thread that I wanted GFriend to win this week in the hopes that getting three wins would have them disqualified from winning more trophies with Navillera (Since I know lots of shows do this, but I'm not sure if The Show does) and that perhaps there would be no strong competition this week (I'm going on the basis that IOI and Monsta X are not getting nominated for this upcoming episode, but the one after) so we could have an easy win next week.

 

But when people lose, they get emotional, heated up in the moment, and have trouble thinking rationally. They play the blame game, blame The Show, blame Buddies, blame GFriend. I feel like they might overestimate MINEs and underestimate Buddies. And I don't blame them, it can be hard for people to believe that this one-year-old girl group from a small company has such a large and devoted fan base. Due to the way the two groups have been managed, Buddies are a much larger fandom than MINEs despite 9Muses being around for much larger. It's what happens when a group is managed well versus when a group is managed... awfully. This is why 9Muses can never win, this is why 9Muses is threatened on The Show by rookies. It's all due to management. 9Muses' constant lineup changes, horrible comeback planning (Their current system is awful. It drains fans' resources and then makes people lose interest during that one year hiatus they have. Source Music has it pretty down pack, again, because they're really good at management). It all comes down to management in the end.

 

And I know a lot of MINEs are also Buddies like myself, so it has to be really upsetting to hear the fighting from both sides. Especially since 9Muses and GFriend seem to like each other. But don't worry about the hate, and do your own thing.

Hey guys. I uploaded a small part of the new OP. My pc kept crashing when I used photoshop. So I asked a friend of mine if I could lent his laptop (which does have a good photoshop installed) for this week. So I'm probably done by friday.

I'll work out a plan afterwards what to do with the second post.
