Source put her under pressure, so she got into a unhealthy diet. Then she got too skinny and her health condition was weakened. She had to take a break to recover. She came back but not totally recovered, I can tell this cuz I am one of her fanboys so I noticed she was not in her best although she was hiding it. Her immune system is still weak and this caused her to get the flu. I hope they don't put her under pressure because of the comeback. This a serious matter. Source must let her have the time she needs to fully recover. They can make comeback without the main vocal for 1 or 2 weeks, other groups do this, why not GF. MBC has a lot of power and gets upset when idols don't attend. Yuju isn't doing any of the events, and this is the second time she skipped, so maybe her company was just giving an excuse so she wouldn't have to stand around doing nothing for hours and hours. Also, re: her absence, I'm still convinced she has a secret project we'll hear about at a later date. I'm of a similar body type to Yuju/Sowon, and when I get really excited/really involved in something I forget to eat/take care of myself, and I lose weight really quickly. I once lost something like 10 kg in 3 mos just bc I was busy. I wasn't dieting or anything, just excited about what I was working on. Moreso, Yuju's absence was planned. We heard, Yuju will be absent in November and back in December. That sounds like a schedule to me. Also, Soumu has a pretty good track record in telling us if someone is sick. They'd have no reason not to. I don't know if it's just wishful thinking for me to believe that Yuju's okay, but even if she has the flu right now, I really don't think there's any reason to assume that SouMu has been hiding some horrible illness and recovery for the past few months. I don't think Yuju would do that. Come with lame excuses just to not participate in isac while the other members are there. Knowing her, she would force herself to go just to see her friends and Buddys. And her absence was not "planned". Source didn't released a statement untill Buddys starting to complain and demand answers, and they clearly said "Yuju won't be partcipating in the upcoming schedules", they don't even gave us a precise date of her return, I don't know where you got that information. hmm well nothing seems to indicate that Source out her under any sort of pressure, given that the other memebers are still around and seem fine. She did lose weight recently, but who knows why. It is flu season, but she didn't really seem sick at the GDA. Then again, it's hard to tell when someone is sick unless they get worse. Yuju might be a little sick and sat out to prepare for their comeback. Or maybe she didn't wanna go like you said, lol. You missed Eunha, she lost a lot of weight for this comeback. I knew this was going to happen. Source Music is not a irreproachable holy flawless company like everyone thinks. They are not different from the others. It's a business company after all. That's why she would seem "distant," etc. She has the most lines in Sunrise and an impressive high note to boot. She's in the center for quite a bit of the dance. People should be more concerned about her maintaining her health than if Source is "pushing her out" or whatever, given that the latter is obviously not true. Anything else reads as sort of fake, melodramatic concern. Stop searching for the drama, and just pray she gets over her illness. This pressure people put on them (not only Source), to be faster, do hard choreos while singing, be perfectly syncronised and Yuju expected high notes, all this are undermining the girls every comeback.
