They are about popularity, connections and fandoms votes above quality and actual deserved winners. Concentrate on Gfriend, be happy. Agree. Just gotta get over that initial frustration. Nomination or not, it doesn't change that the girls are one of the top when it comes to dance performance and choreography. But now that I've kind of formed what I feel, here goes. I think it's totally understandable that fans are worried about her, whether it be because it happened so suddenly without any sort of statement or whether they don't want negative rumors/speculations to spread. And I find that a totally valid immediate response. However at the same time, there has to be a reason for the lack of official statements and we should just trust that when the time is appropriate, we'll find out (or even if it means never finding out). In the meantime, if there are any weird rumors/speculations for whatever reason, just shut them down or ignore them to not draw any attention to it. All these groundless speculations should be taken with a grain of salt, if even at all. I can understand some Buddies can feel alarmed seeing these unpleasant rumours popping up but VERY HONESTLY, I think she's just absent for a personal reason that can't be shared right now. If it was something that could be shared, I'm pretty sure Source would have just announced it very transparently. eternal glow 6,196 Posted November 19, 2018 Share Posted November 19, 2018 FINALLY got my Memoria CD after a billion years. Also got their Memoria of GFriend magazine/photobook/interview thingy. Put some of my favourite pictures from it in the spoiler and like idk thoughts/review(???). There's probably full unboxings of it now and I'm pretty sure nobody really cares what I think but yeah Some thoughts: Memoria of GFriend is MASSIVE LOL. It's like bigger than their concert DVD but 10% of the DVD's thickness. I think this is a fabulous way to promote GFriend in Japan! Not only is it a nice collectible for J-Buddies or Buddies in general but it promotes Memoria and also has a page at the end with a full list of GFriend's entire discography (tracklist and album cover) so people who are not familiar with the girls can look up their other music if they want. There are a good amount of photos too (individual and group). The pages are nice and thick (not flimsy normal magazine paper) and the girls are all pretty as usual. I wasn't sure if this was something that I really needed/wanted but after receiving it, I don't regret it at all! Would be wonderful if Source Music could do a full photobook for the girls in the future in general... Some pretty photos: Yerin's the only non-close up photo because I love her 'faraway'/full shot photos the most. Nonetheless, I'm just glad she's not sick. Looking forward to her return to group activities soon enough (and whatever her individual project is)! I don't know what about December it is but I'm just not that keen on it unless it's a special Christmas single or something like that?
