LOL felt like such a long time ago and I've been anticipating for quite some time now what kind of direction they'll go next. They've done so much this year especially with the first concert, tour, encore concert, Japanese releases, etc that I think it'll be a good idea to hold off any new music for the rest of the year and start next year with a bang Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eternal glow 6,196 Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 I don't know if this already discussed yet. just read nominees for MBC Plus x Genie Awards : soompi : 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards Announces Nominees + Voting Begins but I couldn't find Gfriend in any categories. I find it quite strange. I personally think that they could win in Dance Categories for TFTMN, or at least being nominated. perhaps Genie being salty here? because Gfriend "betrayed" them for moving to 1theK lol ah.. if that's true, Awards shows are mostly subjective. we can only hope for Gfriend to win on Melon Music Awards. or Golden Disk Awards since it's not affiliated with any major companies. There was a thread about it on here but not sure if it's still up. My perspective on this is that GFriend don't need awards or nominations to define their success. Of course awards and such are nice to have but just because they aren't nominated for or win any, it doesn't make what they achieved this year any less important/valid.
