I'm single, and I enjoy the lifestyle. I see people casually (and they are aware and on board with the casual approach), and it is just a much more freeing approach to me. Plus, monogamy never really felt right to me. When I was younger I fought so hard for it, only to come to understand it just isn't me right now.

I keep on coming back to this thread to check it. I kind of used to date this one guy who is just sooo self centered I cannot with him. He wouldn't even let me talk about kpop or other things I like "because he has no interest in it" I was so offended I just realized he it wasn't worth it. I really just want a guy who can at least let me talk about it. Even better if we have the same interests

Sooo... i've been single for quite a while and i'm thinking yeah maybe i should get back out there and find someone. But the thing is, i'm kinda lazy to do the whole dating thing, i don't like to go out as much and i can't stand being on the phone, talking/texting/chatting with someone. I hate the hassle of it all. I don't know what to do, seriously ohdearplz.png

My first post in this thread btw, so hi smile.png

The struggle of my life! I went clubbing for the first time in two years a few weeks ago but I had more fun when I was laying in bed after that to be honest. Also I rather be together watching a movie or something instead of texting and all I hate that online dating thing

Gotta love being stood up....here I got all excited because I was finally gonna go on a date. Then they don't show up or answer when I called/messaged even tho a few days ago we confirmed we were still going today.

Oh well....I knew it was too good to be true haha....

So 2 days ago I went on a date with a senpai from my uni. We drank some tea, had a chat and walked around the city before ending our 2 hour date. Since it's the first time I saw him outside of school and actually talked to him instead of awkwardly staring at him I was super nervous. I tend to hide that and make sure I look flawless so to give my self esteem a boost.

So after our date we talked a little more at the station, hugged and went home. He mentioned if I had questions or whatever I just needed to tell him so he could help me. So I take this as a sign the date went pretty well. He texts me about half an hour after separating he had a good time as well. That night we talked a little more and so did we yesterday. We texted until 3AM and a little more today.

I realized he doesn't text much which is fine. I just want to talk to him more but it's not happening so I want a second date. But neither of us has mentioned anything to see each other again and maybe it's a little fast since it's only been two days but I'm eating myself up over this and I hate that I have been crushing on him for a little while and now it feels like things are going really slow

Awww he sounds cute. Good luck on ur lunch date!

There’s this guy I’ve liked for a long time, and I still kinda do.... we used to talk and stuff but now when ever he’s around me he seems stressed and angry. He always ignores me and tells me to ask someone else. and I tried to add him on a chatting site but he didn’t respond T-T. We don’t have any classes together, so I don’t know how to approach him. It just confuses me bc you don’t just ignore someone you’ve known since you were six! Maybe it’s because our personalities have changed (I used to be really shy and he used to be loud lol, it’s the other way around now).

And then recently I saw him and he was talking to his friend but he just starred at me and his jaw dropped, but he didn’t approach me, or wave or anything. So like idk. And I started talking to him at our advisory social but he just looked at me and walked away. My friend thought he was some guy I didn’t even know -_-

Honestly I’m slowly forgetting about him but I don’t want to! I can’t live my entire life thinking what if...

I need advice fellow singles :(

I feel like the older generation doesn't understand that times are changing and most people do not get married in their early 20s.

Why would you waste away your juicy years being in a relationship or being married? Most of my cousins and friends are married with at least 1 child. I love the freedom that I have being single. Why commit to someone? I like the whole ritual of dating, I find it fascinating what people will go through to prepare for the first date. I'm going back to my homeland soon so it will be very interesting to see how everyone who I knows interacts and how marriage & commitment has changed them.

I think I should date more or get a girlfriend soon as I'm starting to feel weird about it since now even the high school kids at my swimming club are starting to ask me if I'm single and why or asking if I like some of the girls that go there lol.
