I'm single and I currently have no interest in dating because...

A) my ideal type is nowhere to be found

B) too busy enjoying being alone, focusing on work and just have undisturbed free time all weekends

C) I suck at social life

D) I don't really believe in love

E) I'm afraid to be hurt again

that's all.

always experienced bad relationships.. the person put in effort at the beginning and goes slack once we're in a relationship

I always love them more than they love me at the end, no matter how I get treated. It's going to take me a while to heal. A few guys get shy around me, and some guys stare at me for a really long time. Maybe I attract them but my personality is a turn off once they get to know me. I'm scared

I'm single because

  • I don't want to date anyone
  • I have a hard time opening up and talking to people in general
  • I'm pretty sure I'm like 99% asexual? ?? ? which probably explains everything
  • I can't imagine myself in a romantic relationship with anyone and I don't try to
  • I feel awkward talking to guys so I avoid them in all situations
  • I'm content being by myself

I've been in relationships before but they never last a long time. I prefer being single, dating is fun, the whole process of it. The hook up culture is also fun. Perhaps for a guy its different than for a girl.

I for one cannot picture myself being with the same person for a long time, so marriage is not for me. besides marriage is antiquated.

I'm 25 years old, I have a career, not a job and I'm focused on my education and I have a social life, but I'm not looking to settle down and start a family. Meanwhile all my cousins and friends are already married with at least 1 kid.
