He probably removes himself if there's a camera and he's in a bad mood. It makes me sad to think about if he's ever sad. Even his HIM tweet made me want to fly over to korea and give him a hug 

 

Ikr . He's not as open as the other members. I'm hoping that when he drops his mix tape, whenever that is, he'll be able to get a lot off his chest.

He'll definitely do it. I feel like he's purposely holding back. Why he teased us with 1 Verse is still a mystery to me.

i see why he'd come out with a track like One Verse first.

I'd think it be a little bit of a shock for fans for him to come out with a deep personal track when he's known as the happy go lucky mood maker. It would've been an interesting move but a risky one.

It was a taster for us and probably for him too. I don't recall him releasing a lot of tracks predebut like RM and Suga did. If he has my bad I haven't delved into a lot of BTS' predebut stuff.

I do wonder what's up his sleeve. I hope he'll experiment with more hype, trap sounding songs, but also deeper personal stuff if he's comfortable with it as well.

That's okay, J-Hope didn't release anything pre-debut. You didn't miss anything. Him releasing 1 Verse as a preview into his future mix tape did cross my mind briefly. The only other reason I gathered as to why he released 1 Verse was to be acknowledged. RM released his mix tape and was just included in Spin's list of 50 Best Hip Hop Albums at the time, and Suga received recognition for the recently released HYYH pt. 2 intro "Nevermind", and pt.1's intro as well. People were getting a taste of RM's and Suga's skils and I get the feeling he didn't want to be left behind. I think this what trouble's him the most as well. People never talk about J-Hope's rap skills, not even the fandom, and he's going to be compared to RM and Suga who have set the bar so high, not just for BTS, but for idol rappers in general. You can tell he has his pride as a rapper and really wants to establish himself along with RM and Suga. I think I'm more nervous than him.

There's gonna be a new album soon, do you think Hoseok will get his own "short film" like Jungkook? 

 

I just hope that whether he gets his own short film or not, he shines this era. We need a "this is Jung Hoseok's era".

Definitely would love to see a solo. The short films are subtly focusing on the members' role and skills, so I'd love to see how well they incorporate  J-Hope's skills.

Am I the only one who finds it weird that J-Hope's short film is being pushed towards the end? Do you think Big Hit is putting some special focus on J-Hope this era? With HYYH for instance Suga rapped the intros and fans and non fans were able to realize Suga's awesomeness, so maybe J-Hope will rap alone on WINGS intro, like many fans had anticipated for HYYH pt2 initially. Big Hit usually gives each member a time to shine (I like that). For instance both Dope and Fire have pretty much the same format, and in Dope, Suga was featured in RM's verse, and then we see where in Fire, Big Hit had balanced it out by allowing J-Hope to feature in RM's verse. This is leading me think that Big Hit is now moving on to J-Hope. I could be totally wrong though.

I was lurking here and there, but haven't finished backtracking this thread yet. I saved all photos and gifs (thank you for posting that, as I was slightly dying  ). I was just going to lurk forever but i ended up making this acc even tho my english is messy and i dont know how to navigate this forum, yet. but I was so nervous and full of anticipated for Mr. Jung Hoseok short films which will drop anytime soon...

He did amazing job at delivering emotions considering acting isn't his thing.

But to be completely honest I'm kinda disappointed they didn't use his superb dancing skills nor even his voice (c'mon the guy's the best vocal from the rapper line).

I know that the point of WINGS is to make a comprehensive story but still...

I was looking forward to this teaser so much, but it doesn't do him justice at all.
