So, there's this guy I train karate with. At first I didn't think of him that way, but then one day we worked together and i thought we clicked well. So I fell for him SO much. So a few days ago he again offered to drive me home and i said yes. Was I rushing too much to expect he would ask me for my phone number or ask me out. So he dropped me in front of my apartment and as I went upstairs i realized i forgot my phone is his car. I called it with my mom's phone and we met outside. Again nothing. So I decided to ask him for his phone number, and here's the catch. His face expression was so… uncomfortable, like he didn't want to. (But he gave it to me and said i should ring him so he will have mine.)  Was it too early or he doesn't like me at all? Did I scare him off or came as too pushy? Or am I simply too paranoid and mistook his expression?

Possible situations

 

1) I don't think I does, at this moment anyways. He probably doesn't see you as date-able person. I would also be a bit reluctant and uncomfortable if I didn't want to give my number to someone

 

2) he is in a relationship

 

3) he is a homosexual

it's possible that he likes you, if he didn't he probably wouldn't of gave you his number at all

but maybe more as a friend than as anything more :^)

It does seem like he was perhaps just being friendly - but you never know, these things take time to grow so he may like you. but in my experience don't set your heart on him having already fallen for you. Maybe he just wants to be friends first and get closer to you? good luck!!!

He might just have been genuinely friendly with you and hasn't even think about if he likes you or don't but anyway you just need to know him better to figure it out.

As a boy, as much as I would LOVE someone to come forward and make a first move, it can throw you off if it does happen. It's quite surprising since most girls don't do that and expect the boy to make a move, so maybe it was just a moment of realisation that startled him. If you think there is a chemistry there, then there's a good chance he could feel it too, so I would say just play it slowly and see where it goes.
