Do you ever read up symptoms and worry you may have them?

Cyberchondria. It's like hypochondria but worse because you can check symptoms on hundreds of different sites. There are times that I spent hours pouring over medical pages looking for diseases that I had symptoms for. If you get to that point, or where you feel like it is interrupting your normal life then please get help.

I do, and I actually was right about it.

In 4th grade, I was searching up PDD-NOS (mild form of autism basically) because ever since preschool, I've had to visit therapists outside of my classroom in school and miss a class or two every week.

I asked my mom about it and saw my progress report and apparently, I do have it.

It's the reason why I was on speech and social skill therapy from Preschool-7th grade.

I'm in 8th grade now, and I've been discharged from all special services since Spring of 2014.

If you're scared about symptoms though, I really suggest visiting a doctor

I don't, but my sister does. She's always worrying about what illnesses she could have and is always anxious. She also once 'diagnosed' her friend with kidney failure and her friends mum had to leave work early to take her to the doctors (she didn't actually have kidney failure). It's really frustrating for my parents and I because we never know when she is actually sick.

I have before. I diagnosed myself with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) dumbest thing I did because that just made it seem more real even though I never had it. Zzzzz.

Lesson learnt: Don't self diagnose, let the professionals do it.
