nakamikans 57 Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Hello! I'm not very good at intro posts, but here we go! My name is Mel. I'm 22 and from the U.S. I'm in my last year of college. My major is international studies, and I've been studying foreign languages since elementary school. But my 3 focuses are Chinese, Spanish, and Korean in that order. I've been into K-Pop for like 3 or 4 years now. My first groups were SNSD and Shinee, and while I still stan for them (especially SNSD), I've branched out to other artists since then. Though I do have certain artists that I pay a lot of attention to, I try to be open minded and willing to give every artist, solo or not, a shot. I'm also trying to branch out into other genres, like Jpop and Cpop. Just to give ya'll a brief list of SOME of the artists who I currently focus on: SNSD Red Velvet Spica Apink GOT7 Hyuna IU f(x) EXO (though recently, I mostly pay attention to Kai, Kyungsoo, and Xiumin) Girl's Day AKMU I do listen to other groups and artists, though. I tend to focus a lot on girl groups and artists. Post-Shinee in like 2010-2011 when I got into Kpop, I didn't really pay attention to boy groups until GOT7 so they're like my fav boy group. Ummm, I can't think of anything else to say! I hope ya'll enjoyed my intro post? I have to say, it took me weeks of stalking this site to finally decide that I wanna be a part of the community here and make an account.
