Hm, Taka the lead singer featured in one of Simple Plan's songs. The band also met Fall Out Boy on Ustream. Was Taka's birthday not too long ago, but that's about it. Ever since it came out, I've noticed so many new fans. Haha you're a bit late there XD Yeah, I really wish OOR would associate themselves more with their label, but I like how they're sort of cool about separating themselves from everyone else. Other than that Taka scandal were he was dating a Perfume member supposedly, I haven't really seen them interact with anyone else. I so didn't know that! And hello checkers and agashi02/mari! Suggestions if you like songs with lots of English in it listen to The Beginning, Liar, Re:make, Nobody's Home, Deeper2x, Notes n' Words. That's the songs that I can find in my head right now. (Just go to Youtube and most of their songs are there.) Also Summer Paradise, second page, with Simple Plan. Now for bands, since you're noob about Jrock(?) I suggest Radwimps, Man with a Mission, Asian Kung Fu (you may know them from animes), Bucktick, Glay, Luna Sea, Alice Nine, The Bawdies (they have some English songs and collab with AI), Acid Black Cherry, Janne D'Arc, Nightmare, L'arc En Ciel, Orange Range, Greeen, Girl Next Door, Golden Bomber (Funny group), Cocoa Otoko (Disbanded though), Flow, Abingdon Boys School, Sypair, Plastic Tree, Uverworld, Lucifer, and X Japan. I just usually get it off tumblr - the OORers on there are super fast at spreading the news, it's pretty amazing.
