xoxox 3,818 Posted April 11, 2017 Share Posted April 11, 2017 2PM’s Junho Explains How “Chief Kim†Helped Him To Become A Better Actor - Soompi 2PM’s Junho recently finished his drama “Chief Kim†and was praised for playing an antagonist, despite it being his first time. During a recent interview, the singer-turned-actor sat down for an interview and reflected on his own acting career. Junho explained that he mainly wanted to play the evil character to widen his acting spectrum. He said, “I hate being shy. If I am not confident of my own acting, I would never be able to show it to the public. I wanted to widen my acting spectrum by playing an antagonist and I wanted to do it sincerely. Looking back at it, I think I somewhat reached the goal that I was aiming for before filming.†Junho’s character Seo Yul has quite a feisty personality. In the drama, Junho’s character continuously butt heads with his co-star Namgoong Min‘s character and created a very rude image for himself. The star revealed that he did feel bad about doing such actions towards his co-stars. Junho commented, “I did apologize before filming, but I was afraid to be so rude towards my seniors. However, it would disrupt the flow of acting if I seemed hesitant so I gave it my best when the camera rolled. Later, my seniors told me to go easy on them when the camera was not directly on us.†Junho also added that he learned many things just by working with Namgoong Min. Through him, Junho said that he was able to realize what it takes to star as the main character, and that it wasn’t an easy place to be in. Even though his acting career is blooming, Junho firmly stated, “2PM is where my roots are.†He continued, “I was very lucky to have starred in a few movies and dramas every year. Recently on “Radio Star,†Super Junior’s Kyuhyun caused many to become very curious about Junho’s home when he revealed Junho had moved to a very nice place. For “I Live Alone,†Junho reveals the inside of this place, along with many different sides to his personality and lifestyle. Junho recently received a lot of positive attention for his portrayal of the psychopath villain, “Seo Yool,†in the drama Chief Kim. In contrast, the warm and adorable aspects of his personality in real life are highlighted in “I Live Alone.†In the morning, Junho began his day as a busy “cat butler†as he greeted his cats affectionately. His care for them was readily apparent, as he hardly took his attention away from his cats. He also used aegyo with his cats and spoke warmly to them even while cleaning out their litter boxes. Junho’s goofiness was displayed to viewers as he was shown practicing imitations of different animals in preparation for the midterm exam of one of his graduate school acting courses. “I Live Alone†also exposed Junho’s genuine self that usually cannot be seen on television, as it showed Junho playing virtual reality (VR) games by himself. About his solo lifestyle Junho said, “It was my dream to live alone. I felt shy because it was my first time feeling a man’s moist lips,†Junho shamelessly admitted. Namgoong Min then added, “I felt even shyer because Junho’s skin felt so nice.†This hilarious episode of “Happy Together†will air on May 11 at 11:10 p.m. KST.
