Does it annoy you when people complain about how long you take to get ready?

I have this issue with my mother. She doesn't wear makeup or anything so she doesn't take long to get ready (this if she has chosen an outfit, she takes forever to choose something to wear), so she's always like oh now she's putting on makeup and oh she's still not ready -.-

 

Fucking excuse me for wanting to look good and for wearing makeup   You aren't some special snowflake just because you take like 5 minutes to get ready.

I don't even wear makeup but I always take longer than my sisters to get ready because they inherited all the good genes. I need to cleanse my face and put on two moisturizers before I leave the house. Not to mention, unlike them, I'm short so it takes me a while to find an outfit that doesn't make me look frumpy or childish. It's a struggle and they just don't understand. I always have to listen to their complaints even though I'm the one driving them around lol

the only time it bothers me is when the housemate I'm normally waiting for makes a big fuss about waiting for me for a change. I'm like lol deal with it I wait for your slow ass every other day

my mother gives me so much shit about taking the time to put on sunscreen and moisturizer ("I never do anything to my face, why do you put on fancy makeups?")...and then I have to wait for her to get ready because while she's complaining about me taking too much time, she does nothing to get ready herself.

 

my ex: "Why do you take so much time to get dressed? See, I'm already done". all you did was change your pj pants to jeans. I have to put on a bra and change all the rest of my clothes.

Lol I annoy my mom every time we get ready to go to church or another outing, but I honestly can't help it.  She really don't know the struggle of putting eyeliner on

I remember there was a time period (mostly middle to high school) when my parents just wouldn't stop NAGGING ABOUT IT!!!!

It was very annoying. But now, they know I am responsible for my own schedule. I know which days I can take my time, or when I need to hurry, and they don't say anything anymore.

 

And my mother never wears makeup either, but she comes to me for outfit advice
