Oh, her toy collecing!  I wonder what kind of toys.    I used to love collecting toys too, and I still have quite a bit boxed up and sealed.

Yeah me to, like they are somewhere in the attic. My collection consists of those old school "My Little Ponies". My mom had like a lot but I kept collecting them.

I to was not expecting them to put that as their hobbies and abilities. I was like "Wait...your hobby is visiting restaurants...hmmm okay then. Okay so all of their profiles are weird" (It's not really weird but I meant in kpop it's pretty unusual. You get what I mean)

Hahaha yes, I figured it would have been subbed by Heyne fans. Heyne is one of my favorite solo artist and she's adorable. Plus the interaction between Heyne and Purfles is really nice. So I hope we'll see them a lot more together in the future.

Yes that they were actually in the beginning a six member girl group but because they were in a survival game only 3 remained. And other stuff but I can't seem to remember. I think I'm still to happy about everything.

Explaining about Arirang Radio.

 

 

Have you ever visit or listened to Arirang Radio?

If you do, I'll explain anyways for other people that haven't.

On Arirang Radio they have a DJ's for different segments who can speak english. For Sound K it's Stephanie. She is a member of The Grace (I think she left though) and is btw planning to comeback (I believe that she's under Mafia Records now). Soon after Wa$$ups comeback.

Basically you send in messages on their site. It can be from questions, answers to messages for the DJ's or idol/s that is coming on. The people who work for the radio segment, read all the messages and print them out for the DJ to read and speak out loud. If you messages is in English. She/he will read out loud and then translate it to korean. The guest or DJ's answer in Korean first then the DJ's basically translate that messages to english as best as they can. Also if the DJ ask the idol/artist something. It'll be in korean or english first and then translate it before the idol/artist can answer.

I hope it made sense.

 

Btw their is a app for the radio. So you can listen to the radio on your phone. So far I know it's on android. I don't know if on apple. But I recommend you to download it and listen to radio one a week. They are pretty funny and give you updates on stuff at times. Plus you'll get a change of winning a cd everyday.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting it either.  It just popped up and I was like .  Sometimes Arirang posts better quality videos so I'm hoping they'll release one too.  I haven't watched the interview yet, I'm more into the beginning.  I want to pick up some facts (like Geonhee's bunny reference and member competition for the group as you mentioned) so I can add it into the "Trivia".

Yeah I'm finished:

 

1. WY met Dynamic Duo before debut. She like Gaeko every since middle school and when he was signing the cd, she was so nervous that she started to rap in front of him because she couldn't say the simple “I’m a big fan of yours†(After that WY showed her rapping skill)
2. Personal talent:

   -     WY: She can mimic the talking head of Harry Potter. (lol so cute)

3. They covered Bruno Mars’s – Grenade.
4. Purfles practiced for almost 3 years together.
5. Before debut, they were in a survival system. There were 6 members but because of the survival system. They ended up with 3 members.
6. Talking about which country the members want to visit/perform:

   -     WY: She wants to perform and spread the love in England.

   -     EY: She wants to do a street performance in New York.

   -     GH: She wants to go to France. (They weirdly skipped her. So I don’t know precisely what she said. All I know she wanted to go to France.)

7. Talking about 1,2,3:

   -     It’s about a girl telling her friend. To keep her chin up after the breakup.

8. Talking about giving each other advice on the love department:

   -     GH said that because she has more experience. She feels that the other members are a little young and naive, to talk about love and relationships. So GH gives the advises to the other members. (LOL they aren't that much younger)

   -     GH advise not to date the guys that cheat on their girls. (LOL thanks)

9. Singing 1,2,3. (To me some parts didn't go as well as they wanted but it’s still damn good. Guess they are still a little nervous)
10. GH is in charge of the lower parts. EY is in charge of the unison and WY is in charge for the higher parts. (Which makes them so harmonious)
11. Talking about a fanclub name. But they haven’t figured that out. (So I hope they’ll take the fandom names that we made in reconsideration)
12. Who’s the most flexible member:

    -     GH: WY is the most flexible. Maybe because she is the youngest one. (GH she is only 3 years younger. You aren't that old)

13. Role models:

    -     Role Group: The Grace (CSJH The Grace). (LOL Stephanie was not expecting that one) But because The Grace did some acapella and ever since that. They have been a fan.

    -     EY: Alisha Keys.

    -     WY: Jessi J.

14. What animal matches your personality:

    -     GH: Bunny/Rabbit because she rushes a lot.

15. Promotion plans:

    -     Since they just debuted they don't really have plans. They’ll just try to be more active on the music programs and radio shows.

 

It isn't much new stuff but still fun stuff. Plus some of the questions are basically answered.

Yeah I'm sick. I couldn't even sleep tonight because I kept couching (which kept my parents awake to lol sorry mom dad) but I'm getting plenty enough of rest, so don't worry.

Yeah I was a little afraid because my message wasn't said yet and then the lovely Stephanie just kept it until the end. But I do hope they'll remember me. I should send letters to them or regularly send tweets to them. Just so to give them more strength on a daily bases.

Aw that sucks.    Usually when I get in a coughing fit I cannot stop, so I try to avoid it by not lying down at all.  I find sitting up while sleeping helps.  Take care now, we want you healthy.

Yeah, much better audio and video.  Their voices do compliment each other.  Stephanie saw the same thing I did with Eunyong's voice, as she's she "unison".  Her high note is so clear and effortless.  I could tell they were nervous (maybe because they were in front of Stephanie), but I like how they kept a positive attitude.  I really do believe they have a bright future ahead of them.

 

Am I the only one that, if you look at Wooyoung's face, that she resembels a cat a lot. Her teeth and eyes makes me think she has that cat like look.

Just saw one of Minx's youtube video's and half way the video. I noticed someone in the background so I had to go back (while I still hadn't finished watching the whole video) and then I saw the back-ground dancers of Purfles and then my attention switched to them and I was like looking for Purfles and you can see a small bit of one of the members but that's really short.
Btw the back-ground dancers are pretty funny though.

Now that you mention it Wooyoung does.  She's really good at expressions, and her fangs!

That's pretty awesome that they're tweeting back (and retweeting fan tweets).  The last tweet I saw from Wooyoung was to Mr.J.  Even if they don't reply (due to busy schedules) it's like what Geonhee said in her writing that they read the comments like a "hawk".  I think it was hawk or eagle.  That tells me that they're paying special attention to what their fans (and people) think.

LOL, Minx has some cute videos. 

I hope they do some clips of Purfles' backup dancers, like more BTS stuff.  There's something about them that stands out, and they're excellent on stage.  The company (Crescendo) has put together a really tight team.

Yeah she does have fangs. You know what I also think of when I see her. A "Vampire" because of her fangs plus she has that sexiness that could just lure you in. I have said that about  Nine Muses Sera a lot. Gotta say, Wooyoung and Sera are very similar with their sexiness and teeth.

I love how the girls keep interacting with the fans. If they didn't reply I know they still have read it.

Minx is adorable and they try to interact with the fans through funny video's and fan events on facebook or twitter and Purfles does the diary part and talks to us through twitter.

I'm happy they do this. Makes me feel more connected to the group. If more rookie groups did this. I would surely feel more connected to them.

I wonder how they do the Diary, because all 3 members speak at the same time.  I'd like to know what they're all saying.  But it doesn't matter since I don't understand Korean.  Ugh, we need translators.    I hope they continue interacting with the fans when time allows. 

 

- Yeah I knew she was. The DJ's at Arirang are mostly from US and then moved to Korea and some have probably learned it but majority is from US or other english speaking countries.

- Yeah they really need to have that high-five emoticon.

- Should I really tell her my nickname for her? Horror MV, I have always said that with Namyu and Purfles seems to be a candidate to. I really have a nice story line that could scare people. I would love to see that in a kpop mv once. Should I post it though?

- We should really have a regular translator on this thread. Some other fandoms do have them but I guess we haven't found that person yet. We should just go on a hunt for them and maybe visit the deep dark corners of the black hole that is called Kpop. Because they are hiding somewhere...LOL

 

- As for Sera. I understand why nobody see it. But ever since I became their fan. I remember watching News for the first time and I didn't know any members yet. When I saw this girl. A chill ran down my spine (not joking). I felt this uncomfortable feeling. When I watch really good vampire movies and there is this really hot vampire. I do get the same feeling. Plus her teeth are really pointy.

Basically I felt like resembled something and then watching true blood, I realized why.

So from that day on I called her Vera (only me and only at home) and plus, I can't watch Sera's solo parts anymore in news. They are to seductive lolz.

Ah makes sense since the show caters to English speakers. 

I'm not sure about telling her the nickname.  How are vampires (or vampurrrs) seen or translated in Korea? The girls have humor though and personally I think it's a cute nickname.  Or you could always send her your story idea so she has some context to go with it.  Maybe others can give you a better opinion. 

I know that translators are hard to come by (even for popular groups), and I find unless they are truly dedicated fans their interest in translating dies off.  I have an idea, but I'll hold off on it for the time being.  I don't want to ask people I know because then it will be like a favor and I hate to be in debt.   Maybe for now we can just hope someone comes along and takes interest in Purfles.

 

 

Oh wait, I see the vampire in Sera lol.  I thought you meant she looked like Wooyoung.  Yeah, I can totally see Sera playing that type of role.  She could be the leader, like the movie Lost Boys, but she'll head the female version of it.   Be careful, she may eat you up!

Horror story for a MV of any group. I would love to see:

 

I'll use Purfles for this one. I based the character roles on the member OH profile picture to see who fits what best.

 

The mv starts off nice (bright lighting and bubbly or whatever is in those sweet mv's) and you can't really see it would be a horror.

Okay so Purfles is in the mv. All 3 members are together in public and are doing some games. Gunhee seems to be losing a lot. So Wooyoung and Eunyong keep calling her fool(aka pabo), loser(playfully) or "I guess you lucky bone is broken" They eventually see that people are looking at them weirdly but they just ignore it. After some time playing together. They decided to go home. On the way to home they pas this house. It looks normal but it has been empty for a few weeks.

Gunhee decide that they should go in, just for fun. So they went in and looked around. Nothing really special only a lot of dust and the furniture were covered. Then when they all wanted to go. Eunyong tripped and fell against the door under need the staircase. The door opened and so they decided to look down there as well.

Going down they were met with a long corridor. It was dark so they grabbed their phones for light. Following that corridor they found two directions. Wooyoung wanted to go left but in the end, they ended up in the backyard. Then they went back to see what the other one let to.

When they finally reached the end of the second corridor. They came in this middle sized room. There were some stuff but because it was dark they couldn't really make out what it was. Looking around they found something lying on the ground. Something big. Out of curiosity they went closer but every step they took. The big spot turned into a shape, a shape with arms and legs.

They realized what the shape was and became worried. Gunhee, Eunyong and Wooyoung moved closer to see if it's a real person or a very realistic doll. Eunyong and Wooyoung started to kneel and turned around the person. Revealing her face. A face they all know. A face that has been with them a lot.

There was Gunhee, lying death on the floor. Eunyong and Wooyoung realized it was Gunhee and turned to each other, mouthing "No Way". Both turned around to look at Gunhee who was standing behind them just a second ago. But she was no where to be found. Both of them started to look around the room in panic, shouting "Gunhee??" "Hey it's not funny" "Come Out, now" "Stop this fooling" Wooyoung stood up and said "Get Up" to Eunyong. But she wasn't really paying attention due to the fact that her friend was laying there. Wooyoung, out of anointment, grabbed her and made her stand up.

"It's not funny, Gunhee. Playing death, totally mature for a older person" Wooyoung shouted. She wanted to say something else but something interrupted her.

 

"I guess my lucky bone was really broken after all but I at least will have all my bones"

 

Both Eunyong and Wooyoung slowly turned around to find Gunhee floating above her body.

Wooyoung made a run for it. Eunyong did the same but sadly she was to slow. So Gunhee grabbed her (you can guess what's gonna happen to her now)

Hearing the screams, Wooyoung ran faster. She came at the corridors that leaded to the garden and the house.

She just ran, not thinking which one to take. When she finally reached the end, she realized she ran towards the house.

Without a hesitation she ran up the stairs. Grabbing the handle of the door. But it wouldn't budge. She kept pulling and turning the handle but still no luck.

Suddenly she felt chills going down her spine. So she turned around and there stood Gunhee right infront of her.

(the mv goes black and you hear her scream)

 

Then what happens in the mv is that they'll take you back to the beginning of the mv but instead of seeing it from the girls perspective. You'll see it from the peoples perspective.

Now you will know why the people looked weirdly towards them, is because they are playing with three but the people see only 2 girls. So they found it weird why they are playing with air.

Also afterwards you can also see Gunhee's expression when walking past the house. She'll grin and say that they should go in and then when the girls decide to go in. She'll let them go first and then creepily smile behind their back.

Also Gunhee is the one that made Eunyong trip.

 

All in all Gunhee was pissed and decided not to take anymore bullshit and just murdered them.

I once was thinking of what type of MV's we don't see that often and then I thought of a Horror Story line with actual scary parts and then I decided to think of my own.

I hope it wasn't that bad.

I choose Gunhee to be the ghost because she is always in the center in the profile of OH and she is the oldest and would look good as a ghost.

 

 

 

Yeah no I meant the vampire comparison. Wooyoung and Sera don't look a like at all. But both are similar with the feeling of being a vampire. Which makes me love them even more.

Oh I think I have found Gunhee in one of IU's songs.

I was casually listening to random songs and then I heard IU and though Gunhee might be in that one but I guess she is. I"m 99% sure, that 1% is because IU kept being in front of her.

 

She is the background dancer who is always behind IU's head. So I don't need to pin point it. But I'm so sure it's her.

I love horrors like that, where the living assume who they see (in this case Geonhee) is alive, but in fact dead.  So they go about interacting with this being (whatever it is) as if everything was normal.  I haven't seen it in an MV yet (although Bomi from Apink had an idea of a horror where Chorong was a ghost, but either she was dead or in a coma so they saw her ghost form).  This is different though.  I like after the girls realized Geonhee's fate the audience sees what everyone else sees, two girls (what it seems to be) playing with an imaginary friend.

I wonder what the song could be.  I imagine it would be morbid (can't think of the word)? 

I'm not a fan-fic reader, but I can see a series based on this idea.  Something like Whispering Corridors, but in a series form.  Korea had a series like that called "Soul" or something.  Normally fanfics get sexual or they do lots of pairings, and I've heard of vampire themes (because of Twilight).  I don't recall a horror theme like this story.  It's fresh and I think it's something fans would get a kick out of.  I wonder if anyone else is doing Purfles fanfic?  It's certainly something to think about.

I really somehow want to have a mv like this or similar because if you really want to stand out, you need something that is not used a lot. I would love for them to actually try this.

I'm personally found a few kpop songs sounding creepy. For example (in spoiler). I personally was a little creep-ed out when I first heard it. So something like that would do for such a mv.

 

Do you want me to write it better and post it on the fanfic site? I do have a account. And maybe I can make the story better flowing.

Funny fact: I was planning to write a horror fanfic based of a horror book and put in a group of 3 to 4 people (not sure which one yet).

Nothing in that video you saw.  The previous one that was posted had the bridge (acapella) and Wooyoung's part cut out.  I'm guessing whoever edited the video substituted the audio.  The video you saw was the original recording.

It's up to you.      I'm not a fanfic reader, but I noticed they are popular among fan groups.  I think it might be fun, and we can also add it into the "Fan Stuff" in this thread.  Heck, you might even be one of the first writers for Purfles if you decide on it.  Who knows, maybe the girls will read it too.   BUT, only do it if you want to (no pressure).  Maybe you can get opinions from the other members in this thread?   

I did think about a comic series for Purfles.  I suck in that kind of stuff though. 

 

No I meant the general one (http://www.asianfanfics.com/) but I'm not the first one that wrote a fanfic with Purfles in it (though my story wasn't suppose to be a fanfic at first just a idea for a mv) And I just read it. It was a little confusing but ah well.

But yeah I'll just make it a one shot and write it better, I guess.
