Need to make an effort to remember the names but I could already distinguish them when I finished watching the MV first time (it's been a gazillion times now) which is brilliant (Red Velvet still look one one person to me :( )

It's funny because I normally don't know all the names of groups, even the ones I like.  Or I may not know how to spell the names correctly.  With Purfles, I got their names down, including the spellings. Only the group name I'm still adjusting to. 

 

As for the boxer girl at least we know that's Eunyong, but the PD's do what PD's do.  We've seen it time and time again when they pan their cameras on certain members of groups.  With only 3 members I hope they all get equal amount of time.  Personally I thought Eunyong stood out even while I don't have a bias.  All 3 have their charms, and I hope we get to see more of their personalities in time.

I don't understand the schedule.  Am I correct that it's in Korean time?  Because on their website it shows that Music Bank is on Friday and not Thursday. 

 

1.  So when I add it into the schedule should I scale back one day?

2.  Does anyone need/want the schedules listed on the 2nd post?

- If yes, can someone help me by gathering the schedules so I can just add it in

These girls are skinny, but they have really nice-shaped figures. 

 

Music bank airs on a Friday and M Countdown on Thursday but I think they are recording for the broadcasting.

I don't mind it being posted. I did try that once with a group op I took care of. But eventually I just posted it saying they'll be on that show and deleted that segment because it's kinda tiring lol.

 

You could put in the schedule: on 29-10-2014 they are recording music bank and it will air on the 31-10-2014 on Music Bank...or something like that. I don't know how you want to do it. But you don't really need to scale back.

 
I'd suggest whenever listing anything in relation to schedules, go with KST since that stays the same regardless of where people live.
 
For the last couple of years I've run two clocks on my laptop, one for local time and the other for the time in Seoul - mainly so I can keep track of TV broadcasts, webcasts, mv and music releases.
 
A health warning on some of the schedule dates for Purfles is that they may be listing TV show recording dates rather than broadcasts. Most of the main music shows broadcast live while some of the smaller ones (like The Show and Simply K-Pop) pre tape all or part of their shows.

 

Good idea!  If anything I think it's better to stick with the KST times and list the air dates.  It makes it easier and it's more practical than to list every schedule they have.  We're bound to miss things and I can see how keeping track will get tedious and tiring.   Fans are usually on point anyway and will notify others when there are schedules or post performances and appearances.

I know why you guys like MTV The Show.  Besides equal camera time, they had lots and LOTS of close ups. 

 

In a weird way they remind me of TSS, it might be because both groups have 3 members,have long hair and have good vocals + dance. I don't know lol

 

I can see 3 member groups becoming a trend in KPop.  I think both Purfles and TTS have their charms in different ways.  We haven't seen all of Purfles yet, but what I have seen so far I'm excited.  They pulled off a powerful song (on their debut) with a sexy (but not risque) performance with such ease, that I don't see most KPop groups can do.  TTS on the other hand has the right mix of sass and fun, and fills the lighter side of KPop.

I don't really see it except for the same number of members.. I get more of a 9muses + Tara and a slight bit of BEG vibes from them..

BEG definitely, for me it's that sort of powerful image so far. Tara slightly less, maybe in the sense of riding that line between sexy and risque.

 

I don't see TTS elements in them at all, to be honest.

 

Just like 9Girls-9Muses=TheDeathOfMe and myself.  We both see similarities with Purfles and BEG, in their powerful images they do so naturally.  I can't think of any other group on top of my head that are like these 2 groups.  Maybe Kahi, but she alone isn't a group.

I think Eunyong is the visual of the group.  This pre-debut photo (below) is just too killer.  If I were to compare her with any member of T-ara with regards to looks, I'll say Qri.  To me Qri is just outright pretty, even without the lens she's so known for.

What's up guys! I finally decided to give in and follow them lol. I've been jamming to their song for the last days and finally looked up the lyrics and what can I say, I love it I have high expectations tbh for their next songs so I can't wait to hear more from them!

Does anyone have the instrumental version of 1,2,3?!  I'm working on a fully re-recorded and produced English cover, but the instrumental is literally BLOCKED from sale in the USA.  I cannot find it anywhere! 

 

I'm re-making my own backing track anyway, but I'd like to at least give the original without vocals a listen!

 

I haven't  been able to purchase either yet.   For the time being can you extract the audio from the MV and use it as a filler, until you can purchase the instrumental?

Yes, I can extract the audio easily, but I'd really like to hear the instrumental WITHOUT the vocals.  Do you know of any Youtube clips of the instrumental audio?  I haven't found that either...

So did I, every different spelling, ever variation on the name, etc.  Then I went on to run advance web searches and look through EVERY page google provided.  I just tried it again and the 2 links you posted are NOT showing up even now for me through google.

 

Google's search algorithm factors in locations so that may be one reason.

Bingo.  Wouldn't be surprised at all if the major labels responsible for largely locking out Kpop in the USA from major distribution have some sort of deal with google that helps "filter" out Kpop search results in certain areas / regions....

 

Although I'm not a fan of tracking or target ad placements, I'll be more than OK if they gave me an option to choose KPop searches, and define the searches like they have with Search Tools.  I've not only been trying to find "1,2,3" to purchase, but anything that's related to Purfles.  Currently both are hard to find. 

 

I wonder if anyone tweeted the girls about international "1,2,3" purchases, physical or digital.

I hear ya.  I would LOVE a shirt or something -- definitely a physical copy of the 1,2,3 disk. 

 

If they don't sell any shirts, or those shirts aren't available in the USA, I'm tempted to have one made up for myself just to wear and try ot help promote them (I wouldn't make them available on my merch store or sell them, because I don't wanna take away ANY revenue from them.)  BUT WHAT CAN I SAY, I WANNA REPRESENT PURFLES lol

 

Haha, I don't blame you.  I'm just hoping that "1,2,3" becomes available soon.  The song and and Purfles have been getting a good response so I don't want that fire to die down.  iTunes often delays when KPop songs are released (usually a week to 2 weeks on average after the release date), but I'm surprised that it's not available on YesAsia.  Normally they have these in stock before the debut.  So far nada.  Not even their name is listed.

 

November is coming up and there will be a bunch of female groups making their comebacks.  Purfles can lose whatever momentum they have.  That will be a shame since they're such a promising group.

On the Crescendo website 1,2,3 is listed as a digital single, so chances are any physical copies are promo only. It's the same with a lot of rookie groups - the physicals are given out at performances, fan meets and music shows but not available to buy through retail outlets.

 

Ah, thanks for the info!  I wonder if that's what they were giving out during those fan events.  By any chance do you know if the single will be available on iTunes?

That was a great live performance.  I was thinking that oh oh, Wooyoung won't hit those notes after the break, but she did!  I loved Eunyong's "Oh, it's ok" when Wooyoung was singing the chorus.  The vocal demonstration was a nice surprise too.  I'd like to hear them do more acapellas.  Wooyoung's impressions were cute.  I wish I knew the context.  I hope someone translates these. 

 

Any current fans who can translate?

I wonder how well they are in English?  Anyone noticed that "1,2,3" is the type of song that would appeal to the US?  This is a club jam.  It has somewhat of a Basement Jaxx type of feel, like "Red Alert".  If their English is fluent enough they can try to tap into the US market once they get their feet planted in the Korean and Asian market. 

 

Back when freestyle (genre) was dominant there were a lot of 3 female groups, and they were hot.  Three was the magic number.  If these girls make it, I can see KPop jumping on 3 member female groups in the future.  My opinion anyway.

They have that non rookie feeling that not a lot of rookie have these days.

Yes, please!  We should offer money, haha.  Er, um.  I really hope there will be enough interest for people to sub their videos. 

 

I agree, they don't have a rookie vibe.  Even Wooyoung doing her impressions, she just seemed comfortable at it.  I could tell on their Cultwo "1,2,3" they (Geonhee and Eunyong) weren't 100% relaxed (I think BESTie has one of the best on camera radio performance presence), but their performance was fantastic nonetheless.  Wooyoung was just sung with confidence throughout.  All 3 got in the zone as the song went on.  Soon after the break at around 3:03 (my favorite part) they were immersed into the song and owned the stage.

 

Read the lyrics, everyone go read them if you didn't. Love them.

I hope not too, but I don't see that happening.  As long as their company (same company as Heyne) promotes them well these girls have a good chance.  It seems like the company put in effort towards the "1,2,3" MV production, backup dancers, outfits, and stage.  They're also out there with social media sites including dedicated International sites.  If I'm thinking right, the company and girls (by their tweets to International fans) are also targeting the International market. 

 

I'd like to see more information out their about anything Purfles.  It's fast and easy to do. Even the most basic stuff like their profiles will help a lot.

I believe the purfles-intl tumblr and twitter account is actually a fan run thing rather than an official Crescendo site, either way it is good to see the girls out there on twitter replying to fans (in English!).

 

Ohh!  I wonder if I should switch that from Official Sites to Fansites?
