What's up guys! I finally decided to give in and follow them lol. I've been jamming to their song for the last days and finally looked up the lyrics and what can I say, I love it I have high expectations tbh for their next songs so I can't wait to hear more from them!

LOL, I didn't pick up on that until you mentioned it, so I took another look (several).  While a soft squeeze Geonhee's hand hit bullseye! I guess it's similar (but not as blantant as the touchings in Stellar's "Mask" MV), but the fact it was on stage is funny.

It's about girl-on-girl? I didn't even know after reading the lyrics.

 

LoL yeah I know it was not much but it was still there and it was funny that I noticed it. But nothing can beat Stellar or 4L Move mv.

Use Google Chrome and be sure quality is set to 360p60 (even though it'll probably automatically set to this, it's at 60 frames per second and looks gorgeous).  I think we'll see a lot of fan cams start uploading like this now that You Tube is offering it.  And I say to use Google Chrome because You Tube is owned by Google so they play nice. ;)

 

Same applies to the previous video uploaded with 720p60 and 1080p60 as choices.  While I can't speak for anyone else, for me the 720p60 version on You Tube showed up cleaner while the 1080p60 had a lot of noticeable artifacts.

If anyone wonders why this is a big deal it's because You Tube was capping all video playback at 30 frames per second previously. Anything you'd typically watch in HD whether it be a movie, TV show, etc. is normally 60 frames per second (in other words, You Tube is finally able to allow HD content to be displayed how it should be).

 

Oh wow thanks for explaining and thanks for the Wooyoung fancam. Normally I always skip the 360p on fancams because it always was somewhat blurry but now it's really good quality.

You're welcome.  As you saw even from the lower resolution 360p60 version, it's so much better when something filmed in HD plays the way it should.

 

In sad news, Purfles didn't perform on Inkigayo :(  I blame all the boy groups that performed this week...

 

Yes let's blame the boy groups. I want ma ladies Purfles to perform.

But I did look at what did perform. Half of those songs aren't even in my like list. But oh well.

What about Purfumes: to make everything smell nicer. Which can be taken as in, making the music industry a better place, right?(and yes it's purfumes because of pur in purfles. It's gotta be something with them in it.)

Color Bottles: We are their color bottles. In my country fles means bottle and the color stands for a colorful and bright future for them that we want for them.

We could, although I'd like to have a few more official photoshoots to choose from!

 

I think a group badge would be a good idea too - even if the current logo isn't the easiest to read for most people.

 

 

 

 

I personally think it's a little to early to make a badge. We aren't sure how long they will promote and like ^ said. The logo seems a little unreadable. At least I have troubles with it. I know it's korean but now I'm thinking of it. People will be interested to know what kind of group that badge has.

I think we should wait at least a month or two. But if you guys really want it, I'm up for it. I or someone else could make the mock badges.

We or you should make a poll about the fandom names that are now. I was thinking of 10 fandom names and then vote for the favorite. After that we could suggest them to Purfles in someway. I'm not sure how.

Are they already in?   Have we decided on the awards/badges or are we going to wait a bit?  If we vote on the awards/badges, how about listing them in a post and I can link it in the Announcements on the OP?  How ever you guys want to do it.

 

I briefly read up on custom awards but not enough attention to know how the process works. 

 

Well this is what I know.

When people want a new award, they are requesting a custom badge award and that cost around 250,000 won -I'm not even close to that- and then before requesting the badge. You'll need 3 keepers (they are the ones that are going to keep the award. Like show it either up next to the other 3 badges or just in the list if you go to you profile.) and you'll need supporters. So far I know you'll need 6 supporters. Plus when the custom award has been chosen. You'll need the original picture with the badge and link it to them plus the list of keepers and supporters. Then all we need to do is 3 of the list of keepers and supporters have to quote it and voila we have our badge.

 

I'll be a supporter for all of them. Since I'm not yet able to obtain my next award. I'll do that later.

Go ahead and re-ask, it's ok.  Mostly people have asked things like, "what inspired you to become artists, who are your favorite other artists to listen to personally, how long did you train/etc, what languages do you speak, and do you have any special talents, etc.," but if you have a different spin on those same questions or want to know something more specific, go ahead and post it.

 

Ahh well I wanted to ask this:

1. You guys are called Purfles now but did you have other names. If so what where those names?
2. What where your thoughts when first hearing 1,2,3 and did you like it?
3. What was you first impression on you fellow band members?
4. If you could transform into any animal. Which animal do you want to be and why?
5. If given a opportunity to collaborate with any artist. Who do you want to make a song with?

Are these good? I think I'll just stick with these 5. You can choose yourself which ones are asked.

We can do that!  It can be a fun nickname for the group.   I'm not sure how that works either.  I was told that sometimes it's by the companies and sometimes by the official (registered) fans.  I'm guessing it goes through both channels and the company has the official say.  Maybe someone in this thread knows how fandom names work. 

 

So how do we sort out the 10 fandom names?  Do we just compile a list and add all of them into the poll?

Yeah, I'm seriously hoping Purfles will have people who can translate.  They've already come out with several interview videos and I'd like to know what they are saying.   Like what compliments did K.Will give them after their performances.

Ok, so these awards (big ones) are for 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and then 250 onwards right?  So we'll need 3 keepers (sounds like Harry Potter ) and 6 supporters.  Do we even have those numbers yet? Haha. 

 

I know for the awards/badges we need to sort it out because I understand it's a pain to change them once they're included into the system.  Almondandlime created some awards the members should look at.  Maybe other members will also contribute since I'm sure there will be different opinions on what should be official. 

 

Because of the image limitation per post (I believe it's 14), once we get the award nominees I can compile them into one image, and each image will have a number to it.  We can vote that way.  Maybe we can add the image to the OP or the 2nd post for easy access. 

 

• Yeah when we have a favorite. We can call ourselfs temporarily that fandom name. Like how it went with exo or wa$$up (exotics and $wagger$) and no I don't know either how fandom names are made. I think if all 10 are posted on their daum, twitter and facebook. They'll notice it and maybe take them in consideration. But again I don't know how it works either so yeah let's hear it from a other person that does know.
• About that. You or I could already keep a list until it reaches 10 and then you can make the poll with the ones in the list.
• 1 Person buys it and this person can decide to be a keeper, a supporter or just neither. So the keepers don't pay for it. I see you have zero award but you have a lot of post. So right now, you can request 8 badges. If you want you can be a keeper or a supporter. If you are the keeper of one of the badges. You don't need to pay unless you request a custom badge for a new badge.
• I hope that helped more. But you can also (only if you want) keep all 4 badges. The group and the individuals. But that's up to you.
• Personally I think it's to soon for individuals. Let's just go with a group first and wait until they have gained more fans on here. Then we can always do the individuals.

You noticed I have no awards.   It's mainly because I don't have biases (in any group) or stan artists or groups.  I am a fan of many groups, but there are some groups (like Purfles) that I have more of an interest in.    I don't mind at all being a keeper, and if I can get my hands on more wons (or tokens) I don't mind purchasing the award either.  I think we can also donate wons to members so whoever purchases the custom award, we can chip in and donate won to that member.  It's just a suggestion.

 

So just to be clear, if we get a custom award for the group (Purfles) does that mean for each member award someone will need to spend 250,00 each?

 

Ok, so that sounds like a plan.  We can compile the list and then make it into a poll.  Personally I feel like Purfles is a strong and empowering group.  They seem to exhibit a positive image which I especially like.  For a fandom name I also like a play on their name.  Or maybe a play on the name's meaning.

I wonder if the girls ever studied or lived overseas where English was the language.  I think Eunyong was the first to tweet and I was surprised it was in English.  I'm pretty much convinced that they are targeting an international fans.  Wouldn't it be great if they came to K-Con next year?
