2PM’s Nichkhun arrives in Manila for BENCH Fun Meet

Nichkhun, member of K-pop boy band 2PM, arrived in Manila last night for his “fun meet†for a Philippine clothing brand that will be held tomorrow.

He arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at about 10:31PM aboard a Korean Air flight from Incheon International Airport.

Filipino fans welcomed Nichkhun at the airport with banners “Mahal Ka Namin, Nichkhun (We Love You, Nichkhun)†and “Welcome Back, Nichkhun.â€

Winston and Glenn Llamas from Wilbros Live, and BENCH executives met the popular K-pop star at the NAIA.

“I’m excited to be here (in Manila) and looking forward to meeting all my fans at the BENCH events,†said Nichkhun.

Nichkhun will be holding his BENCHSETTER Fun Meet at 3 p.m. at the Trinoma Activity Center and 5 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on Nov. 9.

This afternoon Nichkhun will be holding his press conference at the BENCH Tower at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Last Nov. 5, Nichkhun tweeted, “Can’t wait to go see my PH Hottests and the @benchtm benchsetters!

Who’s counting down with me?â€

Before his flight to Manila yesterday, he posted, “The countdown is almost over PHH’s!!! Will see you guys soon.â€

BENCH announced last February that Nichkhun would be its new endorser.

Last March, 2PM went to the Philippines and held their “What time is it†Live Tour concert at the Mall of Asia Arena

Q. The 2 men who are always thankful for the members’ love. 2PM’s unity, is it because both of you present?

Nichkhun: We’ve never thought like that! It’s just we complement each other. Because our relationship is good, we can be that united so freely..

Q. However on the stage, you wiped each other’s sweat

Nichkhun: It’s because I don’t especially sweat a lot. (Laugh)

Chansung: Khun hyung’s body was soaked in kindness. I’m also like that but when I do something forcefully I’ll be dying out of stress. (Laugh)

Q. Both of you naturally show actions of gentleness.

Chansung: Even when encountering a difficult condition, Khun hyung will forever take a wise choice.

Nichkhun: Chansung concentrates well. Once he’s set on something, he has the strength not to be distracted. And, because we try to understand each other’s hearts, we don’t really know what matches the best.

Q. In last summer, you also went to Junho’s solo tour concert in Japan in voluntary.

Nichkhun: Right at the beginning of our debut, I received the spotlight much, there was a time when Junho felt nervous. At that time I told him, ‘Because you’re very attractive and talented, the time when you shine will eventually come’. Junho’s cool and cute on the stage, and I feel so proud.

Q. Then, do both of you also show tolerance about woman?

Nichkhun: Although I want to do it as a man, when I want to behave like a spoilt , I’ll say it honestly and do it!

Chansung: It’s tiring to only show each’s good feature… A not overdone relationship is the ideal one!

Nichkhun who forever doesn’t lose his smile together with Chansung who changed from speaking Japanese to try saying what he has in mind.
2PM will be forever stable when these 2 men with the heart to freely care for their partners existed.

Q. If you are to release a sub-unit CD debut, with whom will you do it?

Nichkhun: For me, Taecyeon. When we performed a track called ‘My Valentine’, the chemistry matched very well, I want us to perform either a coolly or sexily expressed track.

Q. Chansung will do good as solo though?

Chansung: Eum—, I think I will be able to do it with any member

#ReliefPH: Dara, Nichkhun & Lee Minho send out love for Super Typhoon Haiyan PH victims

 

2NE1's Dara, 2PM's Nichkhun and Lee Minho, who have a strong connection to the Philippines through their numerous projects, cared to drop their message of love for the Filipinos who were really affected (at least 10,000 died according to the reports) by the devastating Super Typhoon Haiyan.

 

 

Dara wrote on her Twitter, "Please pray for the Philippines cause of the typhoon damage. I hope you're all ok." Among the three, Dara has the deepest relation to the Philippines as her family lived their for a couple of years and she became a famous actress there.

 

 

Nichkhun was personally in the Philippines when the typhoon hit the Visayas region of the Philippines (but he's in Luzon so he was not directly affected). He said, "I heard there's a hig (big) typhoon passing through the Philippines. Hope you all are ok! Stay safe~". He also gave aninspirational message during his press conference for Bench. He said, "...families and friends are safe you know with this disaster coming and I hope all of the people of the Philippines are safe. You know those of you who are the victims, I hope you guys stay strong and you know keep your hopes up, never give up. I'm sure that when everything clears up, everything will go back to normal or better."

 

 

Lee Minho, who is famous in the Philippines as Gu Jun Pyo of Boys Over Flowers, spoke in the behalf of Korea. He expressed, "I heard that there was great damage done by typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. I hope everyone is safe now. Please don't lose faith. We're thinking of you from Korea."

Me and my Family's Fanaccount

Has been a big fan of 2PM's Nichkhun for 3 years now so I wouldn't miss this chance, We've prepared for his FM so much bec it makes us proud that he became an endorser of Bench and we wanted to seize the moment to show him how much he's loved by PH-Hottests. Needed to attend the first FM in Trinoma for Nichkhun Fan Projects to be executed and to be help our I-Hottest friends but was unfortunately not chosen for M&G. While my family, (Husband,Daughter and Niece waited for me at MOA FM) and asked my Hubby to draw for the M&G for me. Luckily my husband and daughter got this once in a lifetime opportunity. My husband told Bench organizers that he will give the M&G opportunity to me, because of all the hardwork that me and NichkhunPH did for Khun, thank God they agreed.
He called me while I was in the middle of taking event photos, and cried when he said I have good news and he said it was really for me, I wasnt able to control myself and cried that I cant believe I will finally meet Khun up close..
While in the midst of running taking the train bringing Fan materials to MOA from Trinoma, It was a warzone going from North to South, all I can think of is what awaits me..All the effort was definitely worth it.
We were the first to be called for the M&G with Khunnie,Jhazzel (4-yr old 2PM fan) was holding LO2PM Khun fan, as she approaches Khun he wore a big smile on his face and said You are so cute, What's ur name??, my daughter was overwhelmed by finally seeing Khun in person that she cant answer,me: Her name is Jhazzel..Khun touched her face like a loving brother it was so heart-warming. He kept asking her, but my baby was just so mesmerized by Khun's presence. I was already going out of my senses, seeing him finally and then I took off NichkhunPH's baller and said ..me: Khun this is for you, and quickly told him abt us and that its part of PH-Hottests many projects for him and 2PM, and he held his arm out to me so I will be the one to put the baller on him, then he said "I know"  as all his other words drowned in my head already as if I went deaf as he looked at my eyes full of sincerity... and I had to compose myself bec learning that he knows what we do for him is the greatest reward that we can ever get. Then with his usual twinkling eyes he asked for my name and with that I cant even say my name,  and Just showed to him NichkhunPH ID and he said "OH" and smiled like a sign of appreciation seeing he has a fanbase in the Philippines. And as he finished signing he said Thank u and goodbye to us with a smile full of warmth...and that interaction made me say to myself: Never have I doubted even for a single minute that I chose to be Nichkhun's fan, because he is worth it, The most beautiful Human Being I've ever met, both inside and out. Very thankful for one of best moments of my life..and to top it off at the end of the funmeet my husband came to me gave me a big hug and said, You deserve it I'm so happy and proud of you....Felling so Blessed to share this beautiful moment with my Family and my Hottest family both locally and Internationally..special shoutout to my co-admin, Sunday Buddy and my sister @mische-xy for giving that lucky pass...Love u!!! Thank you Lord for this great blessing...
