DocumentaLy 6,033
Head here meant something else. Kind of like a die hard fan. But it was weird since I'm not too familiar with the slang of the Japanese hip-hop and rap scenes. A head is a stan basically.
DocumentaLy 6,033
It was an interesting interview. LOL at SHOKICHI wanting to make a Japanese Jodeci when he was younger. I do think the scene is growing though. It may now look like it based on sales, but as far as being noticed though. I think one reason as to why the sales may not look that great is because of the fact digital sales aren't counted. I know that a lot of Japanese hip hop releases are only released digitally. DocumentaLy 6,033
Okay, so I was right after all. Yeah, some Japanese words translates weirdly into english. They used the katakana word ヘッズ (hezzu) which translates to "head," but it has a different meaning. We use the same term in The West for hip hop stans.
