The chinese version of the popular South Korean variety show Running Man airs it's first episode tomorrow on Oct 10 around 09 PM and since it doesn't have a thread already I thought I'd make one.

I for one am pretty excited but I'm a big fan of AB and can't deny that is the biggest reason. This will undoubtedly be compared to SK Running Man, which is fair since this is another version of the same show. But because it has alot of expectations it might not get the best reception from us Kpop fans if it fails to live up to those. What gives me hope is that it is co produced by SBS (and Zhejiang Television) and they have been doing this show for 4 years. If anyone can do it right it's them. So what do think, will you be watching it or at least give it a chance?
 
I will try to go in with an open mind, but it's going to be hard to replace the grasshopper, tiger, giraffe, impala etc that has entertained many of us in recent years.

I'm so excited to watch this, have been waiting for it since it was announced and when AB got on board I went crazy but I've been searching around for hours and it doesn't look like any subbing group has picked this up so might be quite a while if ever. :(

Yeah that will pretty likely be subbed fast. According to the chinese wiki it seems to be episode 4.

yeah, I've seen a couple of remakes for variety shows (Dad, Where Are You Going?, Superman is Back, and of course RM), and I think the only one I liked was Dad, Where Are You Going? Most of the other ones just don't flow well or seem too forced
