≠EATING & SLEEPING:

Yixuan: Among the members, Seungyoun is the best at sleeping and eating, but you can allure him with food to get him out of bed.

 

≠NERVOUSNESS:

Sungjoo wasn’t nervous in Korean shows but he kept being nervous for 3 days before Beijing FanMeeting; he couldn’t eat and sleep well.

Seungyoun: Usually it is we three to hit Yixuan andSungjoo in the chest to help them get rid of the nervousness.

Sungjoo: they can tell my nervousness from the look in my eyes every time we are about to get onto the stage, and then they’ll hit me.

 

≠TAIWAN TRIP:

Sungjoo can never forget the kiss he got from the cross-dressed kuso dancer in Taiwan. Wenhan called it “the kiss from Demonâ€.

They love the stinky tofu in Taiwan’s night markets.

Wenhan: Koreans usually find stinky tofu awful. Our manager had a bite and spit it immediately saying it tastes like feet. But Seungyoun and Sungjoo just loved it and kept saying ‘delicious, delicious!’

Yibo: And they can eat raw coriander too (unlike most of other Koreans). 

 

≠FAMILY MEETINGS:

They discuss everything, good and bad.

MC: who speak the most?

Members: (all point to Yixuan)

Seungyoun: He‘s like a nagging mother.

 

≠MAKING BEDS:

Sungjoo does not like Yixuan to make his bed. It’s too troublesome for him to go sleep. There was a time when Yixuan was alone at home and got bored. He made his own bed, and then made all the other members’ beds.

Sungjoo: when I get home at 4 or 5 AM, exhausted, and then I see a super organized bed, it will just drive me crazy, because I don’t have the strength to unfold the quilts. I asked who did it.Yixuan hyung answered that he did it, like kinda proudly. But I just asked him ‘WHY did you do this to me?’

 

≠THE CLEANEST ROOM:

MC: (to Yixuan) i guess your room is the cleanest.

Yixuan: All of our rooms are quite clean…

Sungjoo & Wenhan: (high-five) Ours is the cleanest.

Yibo: Ayyyy…no, no, no.

Seungyoun & Yibo: (hold hands) Ours is the cleanest.

Seungyoun: Because Yibo and i take turns to clean our room weekly.

Wenhan: So do we. So do we.

Seungyoun: Nah..Wenhan hyung only cleans his own stuff. He does not care about other people’s stuff.

Sungjoo: It’s ok. I clean my own stuff, so our room is the cleanest. (high-five with Wenhan)

 

≠ARRANGEMENT OF THE ROOMS:

Sungjoo & Wenhan: Our room is for the handsome men with muscles.

Yibo & Seungyoun: Our room is the Leo room.

Sungjoo: (points to Yixuan) His room is for the elderly. (laughs)

Seungyoun: The mama room, mama room.

Sungjoo & Wenhan’s room has the best view and an independent bathroom. Yixuan lives in the smallest guest room, though it has a desk where he can read.

 

≠COOKING SKILLS:

They have ramen party on every Sunday. Their manager cooks ramen for them.

Sungjoo: Seungyoun usually cooks some strange dishes, and he makes cookies and ice-creams. All very delicious! Strange but delicious.

Seungyoun: But i think the word “strange†belongs toWenhan hyung. I gained my cooking skills from the existing recipes on the internet.

Yixuan: yeah, Seungyoun learns online, but Wenhan cooks totally weird dishes.

Seungyoun: He makes up dishes himself.

MC: What is the most weird dish he has ever cooked?

Yibo: a pancake made from bananas and eggs.

 

≠REQUESTS FROM FANS:

Sungjoo sang a song in Chinese - Kiss Goodbye(Wang Leehom)

Yibo danced free-style and played yo-yo (he learned the yo-yo tricks in primary school)

Seungyoun mimicked the sounds of a monkey, an angry dog, a bird, a cat, サンジ (Sanji) in One Piece, and SpongeBob  (Yixuan: We hear such weird sounds from him everyday.)

Wenhan sang The Sweetest Love (Robin Thicke) to confess his love

Yixuan performed Taichi (while the naughty kids sang The Sweetest Love in the background to mess with him)

♥ UNIQ'S FIRST LOVE â™¥

Seungyoun: My first love is.. my fans.
Sungjoo: When I was in high school, there was a girl who had this long straight hair with big eyes she also has double eyelids and she was really pretty. I don't know how she changed now, but I want to see her again even just once.
Seungyoun: I was in kindergarten, that girl who had her hair tied and was wearing white dress.
Yixuan: When I was in high school in China, she was a student next to my classroom. Her height was just about my shoulders. We meet everyday but I couldn't even say a word. 
Seungyoun: You weren't being a man! 
Sungjoo: You were not a man back then!
Wenhan: I had a one sided love when I was in elementary school. She was sitting in front of me. What I remember now is that when she sweats, there was always sweat below her nose, It was sexy to me.
Seungyoun: Then you like Gil Raim.
Wenhan: Right now, It's no longer like that. Back then, I just found it sexy.
Yibo: I don't remember anything. I trained early so I don't have any romantic memories.

 

 

 

UNIQ is asked after they got married, would they let their wives handle the money/income or would they handle the money issue themselves (without the interference of their wives) and yibo steadily said that he’d handle his own money in which the MC responded “well said, wang yibo!†(the MC also added that guys from luoyang (yibo’s hometown) are cool lol)

 

yixuan claims that he would split the share into two, one for his mom and one for his wife and his words caused an uproar within the guests panel, even some of the members (wenhan and seungyoun) were apparently taken aback by his words too lmao

 

wenhan said that, he too, would handle his own money whereas for seungyoun and sungjoo they would let their wives handle the money without a doubt (the MCs and guests then clarified it was probably the cultural differences between korea and taiwan/china) and one of the MCs teased that he’d foresee a gain of fanbase for both the korean members after the airing of this ep lol

 

UNIQ also shared that there’s a newly passed law on the protection of women in korea - a man can’t continually stare at a girl on the street (a random stranger in this case) because if the girl/lady ever felt harassed/intimidated by the prolonged staring, she could report him to the police and he’d straight off be detained and get locked up in jail for a day

Just a suggestion. Since there are more people getting into Uniq, you guys could maybe add a starter kit in the front of the thread (in the op) where you have things like eng sub videos of the group where people will get to know about them and stuff like that. We have it for the Sistar thread and the Boyfriend thread too. It actually really helps.

They have some subbed shows I will add them later, thanks for your suggestion!

I've been a silent reader of this thread since the first day. UNIQ is my favourite rookie boy group. I've been following them and  stanning them so hard, and even watched every show they were in. My fav OTPs in the group are WenJoo and SeungBo

I'm looking forward to EOEO/Listen to me. Hope that it will have 3 vers (Kor, Chi, Eng) like FIL (FIL was a troll to me, luckily I love Sungjoo's voice so I didn't miss out on this awesome group). Guess that I'm one of the fans that was already spoiled by them and their fan services:)))
