so the boys have finished recording their new song yesterday - apparently it will be released early next year (jan 2015). 

 

 

 

from now until the end of the year, they will also be embarking on showcase tour of korea and asia. can't wait!

they're such adorable dorks.....(particularly sungjoo in this clip) lol

 

 

 

 

Update: UNIQ will also be on Arirang Radio tomorrow (12pm KST) and on Wednesday (Nov 5), they will also be on Pops In Seoul.

 

 

Hopefully they will be on ASC soon!

yeah....it's disappointing how some of the music shows keep cutting back their performance (esp. on the big music programs their performances have been condensed). they do it to a lot of the rookie groups, probably because they're new and there's so many performances to go through and they can't fit all the full performances in. 

 

still better than nothing i suppose.

i think their career is going to be really interesting. kpop fans are underestimating yuehua entertainment imho. just by looking at what they've been able to do for han geng and alan, you can tell that they'll be a popular group in china.

I'm not going to jinx them, but I think their career should be a fruitful one. 

This is not just me saying this because I am a fan, but I think they have the right mix for success. They couldn't have come at a better time also. 

 

I think the important thing is for them to continue promoting / conducting activities in Korea (as well as China). They have already built quite a following with the international KPOP fanbase, which is helping to create hype & excitement for the group and raise their overall profile. China still doesn't have strong music promotional platforms like Korea (ie. very few CPOP music shows/programs) and many idol/pop groups in particular find it hard to establish themselves, engage with the larger audience and flourish. So it is important IMO that they (as a group), continue being active in the Korean market and I hope YH recognizes this. I do believe that UNIQ is in good hands and YH knows what they're doing, For one, they haven't rushed UNIQ to China and seem to have arranged quite a few different appearances / activities for this group in Korea this month. 

 

They have also set up UNIQ's official fan cafe, official fan site, fanclub name, color etc - they seem pretty organized. 

 

PS. I wouldn't mind contributing to your blog sometime. It looks interesting :D

I agree, I also think their song is decent and they have pretty stable vocals along with attractive members, my only worry is that with chinese members idk how the majority of kpop listening fans in sk will react to them, what with luhan and kris, then again, they're not from the big 3 so it seems less of a problem. i hope they'll do well they deserve it!
