kim tan WTF. who did that help even. he's really annoying me at this point..

and why am I expecting "love is the moment~~" at every pause in the show whether or not it's romance related?? I've been infected.

oh and does anyone get what's going on with the tutor girl/won's gf? what is the big scandal being revealed?

Tbh I think a lot of my feelings towards Young do has to do with my love for kim woo bin.

me too... but then again I have good reasons for loving him so I'm at peace with it hahaha.

The "scandal" is just about her education was fully sponsored by Jeguk Group.  It's just an article about how this company is so generous and nurtured talent.  She's going to be a teacher/lecture at Kimtan's school, hence, why she said they'll meet again very soon.  Don't forget that school isn't very kind to the "social welfare" group...

I pity eun sang . I don't know what will happen to her at school now since Rachel found out about Tan's mum and that she lied about her mum. Tan clearly is making everything worst for eun sang. :( youngdo is actually a very sweet guy. :/ Kim tan oh kim tan. You're making it worst. :< and the ending part where kim tan cried actually made me cry. D':

It's so funny because the timed comments on Viki are all cheering for Kimtan, even to the point of being proud of him.  I suspect he's doing it to be with Eunsang but viki comments think he's doing it for his mum.  He screwed both their lives for the time being for whatever reason he was trying to achieve...

He does nothing people complain.

He does something people still complain?

People were saying that he doesn't stand against his family enough in the previous pages. When he does somehow it's still a problem.Should he have just stayed quiet and let his mother constantly be degraded like that?

No, but I'm skeptical of whether he was doing it for his mum or Eunsang.  If it was for his mum then good on him, he better stay to protect her even more now.

imo it seemed like it was for both. Killing two birds with one stone. By relieving his mother of that burden he frees Eunsang from being a secret or fitting in the same role his mother ended up in.

If there's one thing you can't fault him it's definitely that he always tries to protect his mother even when Young Do came in to basically insult her he stood by her and has never been ashamed of her or her position. imo it's one of his few good qualities lol

RUMOURS (?) : Eun Sang MAY BE choi young do's sister. It may reveal in the upcoming episode's soon.

I read something different.

ES might be Kang Ha Neul's dongsaeng

I wish ES becomes a huge bitch tbh, and dumps both KT and CYD and just stays with CY and BN

but the thing I really want is for this drama to end

#FreeParkShinHye

I don't know why I keep on watching lol

If eun sang is actually young do's sister; I shall claim cop out on part of the writer in terms of character development and the love triangle! Not that I've learned to expect anything remotely worth any sort of quality in terms if the romance on this show.

My favourite character is kim tan's mom. I was a literally wailing at her expression of love for her son and how she can't publicly show it. The revelation scene wa ah-mazing!

Honestly tan and eun sang have got the chemsitry of two rocks. It's just non existent. Eun sang and young do is marginally better in that respect, because even though young do is an ass, at least his gestures and expressions of love are believable, even if shin hye, again has very little chemistry with him either,it's still a lot more than that with lee minho. I was getting all the angsty feels at his whole; why do you think in going to hurt you I just wanted to hang out with you. (I'm such a sucker for that) whereas the scenes with eun sang and tan sound like they're reading off a paper or something...

The last thing I want from this series is for young do to be paired up with with Rachel or with the bitchy girl number two. Either it's eun sang and young do as end game, or he remains single. That would be my ideal thing in terms of romantic development.

1. I've definitely never said anything about tan vs his family so that's not relevant to me anyway?

2. how does this help? if rachel and her mother leak this story, his entire family will be rocked by this scandal which will likely mess with the business and leave both the wife and the mistress embarrassed and harrassed by the media. and guess what? even though the truth is out tan's douchebag dad is probably not going to marry tan's mum. which if you recall, is what tan's mum wanted. now there's a big chance that she won't even be able to stay in the house.

"I don't know how to cope with the scars in my heart. How can I deal with yours?" - Young Do

This line was so amazing and so unexpected, that I actually had to press pause for a moment.

And ugh I felt so bad for Tans mom this episode. I can't even imagine how hard it must have been for her to live those 3 years without anyone by her side. Poor lady

I keep wondering though why didn't they cast actual teenage actors for this? There is plenty of really popular ones right now, like Kim So Hyun, Yeo Jin Goo, and Kim Yoo Jung. I just think this drama would have been a lot more believable if the characters all actually looked like high schoolers, and not like full grown adults.

^ That scene was very well done by WooBin

This is the first drama I've watched of WooBin and l'm not sure if I'll still like YoungDo if it was someone else who acted the part.  Although for now, I still think KimTan is a horrible person to any one other than his mother.  YoungDo is violent twisted by is definitely slowly changing for the better .

and then they have those flashbacks 3 years ago with guys who look nothing like Tan and Young Do.

Pretty sure they'd look practically the same.  :wut:

maybe a bit shorter...

Should've worked some stylist magic.

Right! Like um yeah no one changes that much in three years

It would have been so much better if they just used the same actors and just maybe style their hair a different way.

yeah I definitely think Woo Bins acting has a lot to do with my love for Young Do's characters. Cause on paper he really does sound like a complete asshole, but Woo Bin adds a lot of charisma and vulnerability to the character.

I never got the whole YoungDo x Eunsang praise until the last two episodes. I'm actually fine with Kim Tan x Eunsang even though there isn't exactly a spark.

Kang Ye Sol + Rachel are my favorite characters. I hope Ye Sol gets some actual purpose in later episodes.  :ahmagah:

OMG, that did not register in my brain that it was only 3yrs-ago flashbacks.  In my mind I kept thinking they're in collage/university instead of HS.  They should have done better styling because it's possible.  Unless they're trying to say puberty for guys is that awesome, no surgery need just wait 3yrs   :hurr:

Sameeeee + Kim Tan's mum.

If they were gonna do those flashback scenes they should've given the younger characters the same hair and should've given YD the same ugly eyebrows.

김성령 most likely has the best grasp on her character out of most of the actors. She was a great pick for the mom. The mom herself really needs to grow a better backbone though...

Unfortunately Tan x Eunsang is canon, I've ceased to find any evidence that doesn't point in this direction. Youngdo is the main foil character. He keeps the plot going, gives incentives for rash decisions.

With this in mind, I think I'm going to just not root for anyone at this point. The romance is just a tool to improve character development and instill some kind of theme of social disparities, family, etc.
