So far Kim Woo Bin is definitely the best part of the show. Its gotten at least a little more exciting now that they're in school and I'm sure that has to do with his character.

Also I just really cannot seem to bring myself to care about the older brothers love line. Whenever that couple is on screen I just get so bored.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way  :ahmagah:

Am I the only one who finds Kim Tan and Eun Sang's chemistry/moments dull and boring? All they literally do is stare at each other.

I want her to end up with Young Do atm. They seem to have a lot more chemistry. I know this isn't going to happen, so I hope he ends up with Rachel if he is to end up with anyone.

I started the drama not liking Krystal's character and now I actually love her!!! She's so endearing and her relationship with Chan Young is adorable.

not just you

i also find most Kim Tan and Eun Sang's moments dull/boring. their chemistry are lukewarm though they're such good looking pair

i find Eun Sang and Young Do's interactions or Young Do with Rachel more interesting though Young Do is such a jerky bully and Rachel being her bitchy self

Heirs has lots of characters and PD tried to showcase all but at the same time wants to maintain Kim Tan-Cha Eun Sang as the main story

as a result, we don't see much characters developments and the side stories of other characters

Weekend or daily dramas use this formula and it works well because they usually have 50+ episodes whereas Heirs only got 20 episodes

Well I'm glad Eun Sang can stand in equal footing against Ra Hael... they usually only do that kind of equal rivalry thing for the guys but with the girls it's usually the mean bitch vs the martyr.

The drama feels slow though, like they're still introducing characters. Reminds me of the pace of long weekend dramas. It's weird that they have so many characters yet a lot of it feels like filler... I'm still interested enough to keep watching though.

Tbh when I heard about Heirs for the first time (during casting period), I hoped this drama would be a drama that told about the struggle of chaebol children, how they might be burdened by their parents from such young age, their problems especially due to their chaebol background, etc. Something like School 2013 but from rich students perspectives. Especially considering the subtitle "The ones trying to wear the crown, withstand the weight", I was hoping this drama would be more about their life and school problems as conglomerate's children. That's why I was really interested in this drama at first when the news was out.

But boy of course I was hoping too much on this drama the moment the summary and relationship lines were revealed especially when I found out Park Shin Hye's character was a poor daughter, since it meant the romance would be like BOF or something similar to that. And as I keep watching Heirs the storyline is getting more and more cheesy, not to mention their messy relationship lines. And those many characters like Bo Na, Chan Young, Myung Soo, etc only seem to be filler characters so far, which is pretty much a waste if they keep being fillers until final episodes and the drama only focuses Tan x Eun Sang x Young Do. I hope they will shed those seemingly-filler-characters some light as this drama progresses, but well I don't really expect too much about this considering the drama flow so far.

In short, I'm getting at how it'd be nice if only this drama was like what I hoped at first, since it'd be a pretty original idea plus would shed some light for viewers on how those rich students actually struggle to live, since many people only see the 'lots of money' side from them and only expect the good part of being them. It'd be more meaningful and nice instead of merely messy relationship lines. But oh well, since Heirs turns out to be different, I hope there's another drama like what I hoped for in the future.

About Heirs, I started watching this drama anyway since I still have a small hope there'd be something like what I hoped for although it's a small chance + I wanna see Hyungsik's acting more lol I'll see how long this drama will keep me watching it.

I guess I am the only one that still likes Young Do lol

Nahh I love him, he's the most interesting character in this show honestly

But omg that scene in ep 8, where they walked out of the restaurant after their little showdown and were drinking smoothies  That scene was just so funny and adorable

Kim Woo Bin + Smoothies is my OTP

i laugh whenever they play that "love is the moment!~" song. XD

That song is so out of place most of the time. It would be more fitting during a really sad or dramatic scene but they play it at any darn opportunity and the song sort of looses its meaning.

i still find Kim Tan's brother and his GF  scenes extremely boring to watch, he's a possessive freak and she's... I don't know how to describe her.  :derp:

I think he's the most interesting character tbh even though he's most likely going to be a very cliche one (bullies everyone  until the arrival of Eun Sang - BOF storyline).  I think there's more to his character as well as Rachael about why they act the way they do.  Besides the whole one parent thing at least I hope so and that we get to see it.

I cringe whenever I hear it.  They could have used a Korean song which they understood the meaning of instead of an English song because well.. it's English and that's apparently cool and classy cause Kim Tan studied in America.

i'm pretty sure that girl would dump Kim Tan's bro. it's definitely a one-sided love.

i suspect there's something going on between her and her tutee.  :derp:

they overplay the song too much and it makes the scenes even more awkward than they already are.
