Despite the fact that Kim Won is a giant asshole, I can't help but love the shit out of his character. Maybe my attraction to his perfect face is clouding my judgment.

atm because i don't really like their characters, I hate Eun Sang X Tan couple... and I empathise more with the "villains" of the show.

Although Rachel seems like a bitch, there is clearly a reason behind it; bad relationship with her mother, arranged marriage to someone who doesn't care about her (she went all the way to america, ended up spending all her time alone in a hotel and he ditches her at the airport after seeing some girl he met for about a week), she doesn't seem to have any friends and now she has a new family. I feel like Tan is being unnecessarily rude to her (and looking at the preview for episode 5, Eunsang will be rude too), when she is trying to make the best out of a bad situation and also needs stability from Tan.

Won's character doesn't seem evil.. just really troubled and I hope he and Rachel become really good friends at least, they can fix each others wounds; rachel's lack of stability in her life, due to her mum's constant remarrying, and Won's lack of warmth, because his mother died and his other mothers don't really care about him and he blames his dad for his and his (real)mums unhappiness.

Bona is adorable. end of. her and Chanyoung need to get married asap. i will be pissed if chanyoung ends up falling for eunsang. I also hope Bona doesn't mess the relationship up by trying to get back at Tan in some way. Krystal's acting is not as bad as people are saying (the same people who are praising PSH's acting) and she's definitely improving.

young-do is so interesting, hopefully we will see more of him in the next episode. hopefully we get to see more of the secondary cast, because I'm just not here for PSH crying acting.

I love Eunsang's mum. she's hilarious.

Overall the Drama has been good so far, hopefully it doesnt fall into makjang territory haha

Exactly rather than disliking Rachel for being a bitch she gets my sympathy. 'Bitches' are always my favorite characters anyway.  (Wilhelmina/Alison/Blair/Cersei etc...)

Especially when you get to see their human side now and then.

Eunsang's mom, I love her as well for slapping her dumbass daughter all the time.

100% agree with you.

I love this drama. It's good entertainment unless you're really looking for something deep. It's a light show with some comedy involved.

No one is acting, everyone is pretending because the plot is non-existent. I don't even know the purpose of some scenes. There's so much Gossip Girl references, like Young Do and Rachael being "siblings", LMH returning after being overseas for awhile, Rachael and her "queen bee" personality like Blair, Kim Tan and Young Do being Nate and Chuck. But seriously, Park Shin Hye's character need to go. I don't care how poor she is, she's such a misfit and she's annoying.

All of them looked good though, except Kim Woo Bin and his hairstyle but it fits his character's personality. The scenes are very pretty too.

I don't know why everyone is hating on Krystal's acting. It's actually the best you can make out of a character like that. I actually like her.

The old people need to go away, except for Choi Jin Hyuk. Dude is damn hot so please stop making him to be an ass. The dad is even more disgusting.

I start watching this drama yesterday and I was really surprised that the character Cha Eun-Sang was played by the girl of Flower Boy Next Door! She looks really different!  I was also surprised by the Heechul appearence. I hope he appears again!

I just think I will wait until the drama finish so that I can watch all episodes in a row!

I think I read somewhere Heechul would appear in four episodes

50% of every episode is more than enough I'd say...

I actually like Eun Sang character unlike some of you feel. I prefer her character over the typical extremely positive and nice protagonist girl because her character feels more realistic especially considering her circumstances. I bet many people would act pretty much like her if they were in her shoes. Her character feels more humanly imo. She's not like the typical extremely positive nice protagonist girl that is usually in most K-dramas, and she's not like an exaggerated female lead like the female lead in Boys Over Flowers either. She's just an ordinary flawed girl who's faced with many issues in her life.

That's being said, I'm looking forward to the development of her characterization in the future and how she will become more mature as she goes through her life.

On another note, I much prefer Park Shin Hye's character in Heirs over her character in You're Beautiful. Her character in You're Beautiful is kinda annoying for me, so typically meek, innocent, and naive.
