Yet she has gotten no roles and has been doing lots of photoshoots, CFs etc...things she was already doing under JYPE. So the question is what was the point of leaving JYPE if she's not even acting? Is she currently training as an actress? Is she not getting offers? Is she being too selective? What about that independent movie that was supposed to happen in March? Or did they mean March 2015? How come there's so little info about that? Like director, other actors etc While other idols are making a name for themselves as actors (Sooyoung, Yoona, Suzy, that Apink girl etc.) Sohee and her new company aren't doing much in terms of setting up her identity as a future top actress. Since then she did nothing much... I always wanted to see her acting more, but nothing happened. I blamed Jype for doing nothing for her acting career, even last year all she did is 1ep drama (I liked it but it's too little). So when she joined an "acting" agency and officially became a full time actress, I expected a lot. but how is it any different =__= It's been a year and not even one apparition. She had a new short 10sec video some time ago where she's giving a message for a charity thing, and I swear it felt like I didn't see her for 5 years. I miss her .__. How come it's taking that long for her to get a role, even a second role... I like that she takes her career seriously and wants to take good roles only but it's not supposed to take that long though. and I'm even more afraid that they'll make her start with cameo or little roles for years until she gets lead, while others of the same age as her are already getting lead, and at least once a year for a full drama. She needs to join a project. I almost wish she would be lead for a week-end drama just so I see her in a 50ep drama and I won't have to complain anymore lol. Not that I'm bitter or sad but some WG/Sohee fans still blame JYPE with her lack acting job this year. I think she only got one cameo in a movie so far. Come on she already move to new agency, isn't that it should be to her new home now. I remember her fans praised new company because she got the makeup contract as soon as she with the agency and try to belittle JYPE. For me, she could wait and resume contract with JYPE for one year that solely stated for acting. Maybe the new director can help her. But instead she move to another agency. I think that JYPE advised Sohee to wait until all her endorsement ended before she signed with BH Ent. That's why we saw that she got make-up endorsement early this year. It better that way, if not it will be messy on the contract thingie. About acting workshop, I don't mind if she went. But at least BH Ent need to release PR or just do media play stated that she reject or reviewing script. At least, fans and non-fans get some assurance that she on demand or anything. Because I'm tired to see people blamed JYPE for everything. I get it if she still under JYPE but not now.. Let's take example Min Hyo Rin, she entered JYPE three months after Sohee left. Before that she got no drama/movies for whole year Except for magazine pictorial. I don't followed her before. But since then, she got magazine pictorial, acting in MVs and now in movie too. I was really proud of her because she was able to shed her own personality from the character. I mean the manner she talks is usually calm and all so it was refreshing to see her shout and stuff although there were times she was obviously a bit awkward and not as natural and you could tell she was still doing more of a smart-acting rather than real acting as it was obvious she was calculating or somehow well prepared with what she would do. But what Im sure of is that she has the potential because she knows what she's doing, whether she is doing well or not. She also has the face for it, I mean there are lots of pretty faces out there but she has a charming face which is not tiring to look at and more importantly remarkable. Well that's what I think. I like that she's taking her time and preparing as much as she could and come out and be more natural in her next acting role. I hope she wouldn't take longer than a year though. A supporting role in TVN dramas would be a really great learning experience for her and a test as well. I think she will do just fine. But honestly with her status she can even get the lead role as long as it's not as challenging, something fresh like eunji's role and she could just grow through her succeeding role.. lmao this is such a long post. am I writing an essay? kekeke Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Being funny or overreacting on variety shows doesn't equate to being talented in acting. Infact there are a lot of well know/talented actors who are known for being shy/quiet in real life.
