Hi guys! ^.~

I was looking for international forum of k-pop fans for so long. And I'm finally here! Sweet~

I should introduce myself, right? Sooo, I'm Yutka (not real name) and I'm 24 years old (well, almost :-)). I'm from Europe.

How I became a k-pop fan? Lemme show  :)

Anime (don't remember title)  -->  Anime (same here)  -->  Anime (and here ;-P)  -->  Skip Beat! (somehow didn't like it, so...)  -->  Skip Beat! drama version (Donghae+Siwon)  -->  and then... *BOOM*  Super Junior, Shinee, Big Bang, Shinhwa, 2NE1, g.o.d, MBLAQ, Se7en, Rain, 2PM, 2AM, Girls' Generation and more, more, more...

Then I started watching dramas and all these variety shows (time eaters!).

I was watching clips and all " x funny moments" on yt (instead of "x" put a name of any k-pop band) till the late night. And then I had a problems with waking up and going to work. That was/is (cuz I still do this) CRAZY!

And now I'm here, on k-pop forum. lol. K-pop is like quicksand. Easy to enter, hard to leave.  :hehe:

I'm not a fan of one band. I love them all! :lub:  Hahaha. Well, maybe not ALL, but a lot of them. Really.

Sorry for my english. Mostly I was learned by myself. I understand a lot, but when it comes to speak or write... I still have a problems. Hope you'll understand.

So, hello and please, take care of me  :hehe:

Thank you all for such a nice welcome. :)

By the way your English is very good considering you mainly taught yourself. :omg:

Thanks *shy* I was learned english in school, but my teacher wasn't good. After few years in school I was able say my name, where I'm from, and stuff like that. Just basics   That's why I wanted to learn it by myself. Watching dramas with eng sub and some american series helped me a lot. Sound weird but it's true.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me :D

Thank you  :)

Have you listened to any of the newer kpop groups e.g. debuted after 2010?

Yeah~! Of course. In my first post I just wrote a bands from my beginning. From 2012 I'm up to date with k-pop. I mean I know the old bands (like Shinhwa) and the new ones (like Red Velvet).

You're welcome. :)

Ooh bad teachers. It reminds me of my previous German teacher. None of us could really say anything at all besides like hi and what our name was after 2 years. Plus some numbers and maybe how old we were. I could say a bit more but that was mainly self taught too and not something she really taught us.

I remember that helping a lot too when I first started learning English though mostly with me I used songs if that makes sense?

You're right, songs are also helpful. By the way, I don't think it's working with Korean. After listening all of these k-pop songs I should be fluent in it  :hehe:

Of course you need some extra side teaching or something like that. Though songs should get you on your way to speaking and understanding Korean as you probably pick up some words along the way. Yes? :stud:
