I'm confused by the whole video though. Can't tell if there was a war or if it had to do with the fact that Korea had a dictator at the time that the MV takes place. Basically from 1981 to 1983, political activists were forced to enlist and join the army. In this 'purification' process, 6 youths died from the violence and Sogyeokdong is basically the place where the Defence Security Command's HQ was situated (it has now been converted into an art museum). If you read the lyrics again: "One day, when the stream suddenly dried up, my young heart died just like the water in the stream." "I don’t want to forget about this, but I don’t even have a single photo left.
