And Portable has the male members of SEES as social link options (which should have been in the original game idk wtf was wrong with the development team) which gives them some needed characterization.

The developers just added more room for character development in the PSP version for the inclusion of the female protag and some added social links to the game.

Wait, the ps2 version didn't have social links with the male characters in the game? Was that new to P4? That's dumb. I did not know that was a thing.

Persona 3 was the first to get social links on the ps2. Than came FES which built more into it, polished up and got a new campaign (same game as 3 + extra) and than 4. Edited September 1, 2016 by Neo Galaxy

Just completed Steins Gate, another 100% game done

 

Absolutely destroyed my heart,, the plot and twists and everything destroyed me. I actually cried during some of the endings

 Makise end hit me the heardest. When she came upstairs to the lab and smiling before saying those three words 'I...Lov......' My gosh I was breaking down every moment of that scene and than in the true ending when the despair part came out... JUST NOOOOOOOO.... Okabe having to kill her......   it's so twisted... Plus not to mention the amount of dreams from Faris dad and Luka wanting to be a girl. And Suzuna wanting to end Sern but causing world war 3 in Beta world line      Also the amount of times Myari dies, I counted about 10 - 4 from gun shot, 3 from  heartattack, 2 from car cash and once from train... And in chapter 9 the scene with Aya, she was going to kill Okabe like     the evil within that scene gosh.

 

 

 

Super excited for Steins gate 0    Heard it's a lot darker than steins gate   though unsure if I should watch the anime beforehand /:

I never maxed Mitsuru's social link because she wouldn't talk to me until i maxed my intelligence/education. I ended up not having enough time to max her social link and beat the game with it at lvl 9 or something

 

When it came out I remember people saying that Persona Q took the characters and simplified them and made them more one dimensional. I specifically remember one saying that it's like the characters were from the beginning of the Persona games before they get developed instead of having the versions of the characters you love. Still looks like a fun game though.

How can you not Max out Mitsuru senpai? She's ultimate waifu in the persona games.

I didn't know what i needed to start her social link until way later in the game. I was focusing on other stats and not the one i needed to talk to her OTL

I managed to date Mitsuru and Yukari at the same time XD. Though I felt more connected to Mitsuru though.

 

I just finished it actually. Kingsglave a was actually passed what I was expecting. So glad that it excelled my expectation and now I'm defo getting the limited edition with the blueray film. ^.^

The Turing Test (Portal-like indie puzzle game; on a space station) is interesting but the devs clearly tried hard to make us side with the A.I. and depicted the human crew as brainless, crazy and evil people.

I'm only halfway through the game of tales of cold steel and my heart is pounding even more. I love love love the characters and especially Alisia (though she can be annoying at times but her personality and character is just outstanding). I'm also in love with Jusis (not gay) he has so much and during one of the earlier chapters I just feel completely in love with his character (again not gay). So complex yet loveable at the same time. Wonder how the game would actually end and if it is actually worth the jounery but so far so good.

Where are you at exactly? I just got to the Nord Highlands yesterday. Really enjoying the game so far. If it's anything like Trails in the Sky the payoff will be there for the sequels. 

 

I don't think it's as good as Trails in the Sky or Persona, but it's doing a good job of incorporating parts of those games and it's still good on it's own so far. 

 

I'm a little torn between Alisa and Laura. If this was Persona, i don't know who i would choose to max social links with first lol. 

Same, I got up there and visited some people, managed to ride a horse I'm confused what happened between Lura and Alisa ./: though I'm all for Luara any day XD

Going to say goodbye to Sony on their advert of Ps4 slm being the 'standard' model just.. How can you say that with a straight face when the PS4 was one the best console to date in this generation and one of the best in recent years. Disappointed by the time the PS4 Pro/Neo comes out I bet they have plans for the next one............ Making the Pro/Neo to be the standard or even worse than that MEH. Going to go with a new desktop instead, it would be so much better and the years will last even longer despite the costs but goodness Sony by the time they announce PS5 people would had spent over 1000+ on their systems from upgrading the PS4

I don't disagree that a gaming pc is a better investment, but what is the problem with the slim? Having newer slim versions of consoles has been a thing for a long time. It doesn't change anything. It's still the same ps4 just a different size and cheaper to manufacture. There's no reason for someone with a ps4 to upgrade to a slim. It's more for new people.

 

Pro and Scorpio i understand because they are weird mid-gen upgrades that has never happened before for console gaming. Still no idea how much of an upgrade though.

 

edit: Also that's kinda how tech works. Once something is out, it's already outdated and they have started working on a better one. Same for pc parts. The 1080's and others in the series just came out pretty recently, but you can be sure they are working and researching for better tech already.

I'm just disappointed in sony for having to make a slim and the fact that is not even improve at all. People can still play games on the original. Yet the slim is the same thing. .

Also the 1080 has a much longer (i mean way way longer) life span compared to a ps4 pro. Reports saying is next to the RX 480 on the pro and I'm not entirely convinced that's even true since the 480 card is like the cost of half of the ps4 unless Sony decides to sell it for a lost. Given how long Sony updates their console someone with a 1080 would last two to three times longer. My friend has a 650ti (got it since launch) and to this day it still performs better than the ps4 if not on par.

 

I'm also disappointed on Sony "upgrade" they didn't even up it as much as I'd hope them to do :( I'm happy that the ps4 can at least play the vr.

 

Also no 4k blueray drive on the ps4 pro. That just makes no sense at all.

The upgrade, or lack of, is weird. It's like they were scared of pissing off people (seems like they did that anyway lol). If they released a new console with a significant upgrade then ps4 owners would be mad that they need to buy a new thing only 3 years later because they're not used to upgrading as frequently as pc and mobile. It also might as well be a PS5 at that point. I think it was a lose-lose situation for them either way. But they had to do something because consoles are so behind pc. Supposedly Scorpio is a significant upgrade but they also are "losing" this gen so it's them trying do something to catch up and it's a different situation. 

 

The drive thing makes no sense, yea. 

 

Honestly the best thing to do going forward seems like getting a pc first and then waiting years to get a console for cheap to play any exclusives you want. 

The Scorpio for next year is going to be under powered next year (unless they do a complete upgrade which would p**ed people off for the Xbox gamers  with the latest tech releasing soon. and same for the PS4 Pro. PS4 can run Deus ex mankind divided 1080p with only 30fps  (and even had frequent dips in 30fps) so if it isn't significant upgrade I can't see people buying it when they have the original.  don't get me started with the Xbox one with it's 720p.  If it's just for virtual reality though for the PS4 pro I just don't get Sony's 'plan' for selling the console and it was said to be ready for 4k so the lack of the drive is just to keep it cost down...... There really wasn't any point. 

 

And yep for a fact. I don't even mind playing on my perfect PS4 for a while until they  stop supporting it.

Think I'm like the only one who would play RPGs (especially Japanese RPGs) on easy or if I can very easy. And when I play games like the call of duty franchise on very hard/ insane (for gears of war) most often shooters on the second hardest or the hardest difficulty. Though rarely on normal. Just don't like to think in games XD.

Hmm just played some overwatch (PSN and Xbox free weekend) and it was aright, generally it seemed to be a good game, will I get it I doubt (unless there is like a huge deal on) as I am not the type to play Multiplayer/online games. But gameplay was really diverise and good .Fav character so far has to be the Korean girl (forgot her name but she has a pink mech, which actually gives me a lot of memories when I used to love mecha games).For the few matches I enjoyed but the lack of no single player (or a good story) really turns me away :( love the online but only wished it had some story at least (maybe something to introduce the characters)  Could just be the demo that is  Don't really know, if there are some people who owns the game. Is there a single player/story side to it all?

 

Even Titianfall had a story OTL though it was plain lackluster

I haven't watched the Danganronpa anime, but general consensus I've heard is that it's very rushed and inferior to the actual game.

The vita/pc game are so much better than the first anime but now there are two anime's both airing and are worth watching after you finished the first three games on vita/PC. Future side and despair side are so good.

 

 

Oh and to add. The person that voices Yukari in persona 3 Japanese is the same person who voices the main antagonist in Danganronpa.

Just asking has anyone played Nioh? The beta seems to be so good *.* Might pick it up when it reduces it's price but it plays almost like the difficulty of the Soul's franchise. Pretty festruating but the reward pays off.

If you never had a 360 before and want to play jrpgs, Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia are both really good~ They were 360 exclusives. I used to play a ton of Halo but it was mostly multiplayer. It was the reason i even got a 360 and picked it over a ps3 at the time lol. 

 

Now Gears i don't care for and don't understand at all why it's so popular. Fuck horde mode. It's so boring OTL

I would tell you to get Blue dragon if you haven't played it on the 360 it was one of my favs also another exclusive.
