Why not PS4? Would make a nice launch title, but oh well....

 

 

Kinda pissed off about Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate :(

This is what I get for not waiting..

 

The GT creators are considering a PS4 version but they wanted a PS3 version to be ready this holiday.

and I think it's cause PS4 is already getting Drive Club or whatever. Here's the trailer:

Yeah, I just think that a new Gran Turismo game for the PS4's launch would help shift some units.

 

And God I hope so, ACIII is so uninteresting that I can't finish it..

AC3 bored me so much. I borrowed it from a friend and only put in maybe 4 hours and i haven't touched it in months. I'm done with that series, i was never a big fan of it anyways.

I agree GT6 should have a PS4 version. Though Sony is known for making their current consoles go out with a bang.

 

AC4 looks promising but the series is getting stale. They need to stop with the yearly releases and make people miss the game.

I don't really like 2D Fighters. I enjoy 3D Mortal Kombats tho(shalion monks!) and some naruto games(mainly chronicles for PS2)

i'm not a big fighting game fan but i do prefer 2d ones over 3d ones. Out of those i picked MK because i've played a lot of different ones in the series compared to the other choices. But i've always liked the King of Fighter series the best.

 

I wanted to seriously try and get good at fighting games for the first time so i bought KOF13 last year and omg such a mistake. I like the game but it is too dam technical and strict timing for a beginner like me.

I like DoA because it's simple to play but god the breast physics are insane ¬.¬

 

 

 

 

I think DoA5 is the worst in that regard. More realistic looking models with jugs that jiggle from just the slightest movement...

The Dead or Alive series has always been about that though :P Even the creators admitted it.

However, they went for a more ''mature'' approach to the sexiness with Dead or Alive 5, and it's definitely evident.

 

Anyways, I prefer Tekken Tag Tournament to Dead or Alive's Tag Fighting System, but I prefer Dead or Alive's story

when compared to Tekken's crappy stories... And plus.. Dead or Alive has Kasumi. They automatically win for me.

Been playing fighting games for years. Street Fighter 2 was my first game on the SNES

 

I don't have a preference for 2D or 3D. But as far as titles go, I've been a fan of SF, DOA and SC the most.

 

Though the recent MK and Injustice game were pretty good as well. I like Tekken Tag, still not a fan of the whole need of just beating one opponent to win. Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter X Tekken are fun, but I don't like the mechanics they have done to them.

Lol you should of seen DOA1. 5 is nothing compare to the original. If anything, they have tone it down.

Don't know if agree if DOA has a better story, granted both are convoluted. Though I do prefer the DOA tag system

 

The thing is, other companies in recent years have become more blatant in using sex appeal to sell their games. Just TN doesn't pretend about it.

I guess I prefer Xbox since I play that console the most.

 

As for fighting games... Tekken is my favorite series. I especially love the Tournament spin-offs, they're the best. ♥ I guess a close second is Soulcalibur. Never really got into Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat and esp not DoA.

Gotta give it to Mortal Kombat.. It changed how games could be portrayed(Blood? Gore? F**k yeah!) and boosted thousands of games' sales by helping create the ESRB. I also just enjoyed how MKs fighting systems worked, you don't have to know a 30 button pattern and get frame-perfect thumbstick control to get off combos.

Maybe not flop, but according to them, they were expecting better.

Idk what the hell they are thinking. Those sales numbers are pretty good imo. Considering that Tomb Raider hasn't had a title for 5 years, Hitman there was a 7 year gap. And Sleeping Dogs is a new franchise.

 

So there is something wrong here.

Not necessarily a flop but It didn't reach their sales expectations... They spent soo much advertising and expected another game from a series that was in a deep decline to sell 5-6 mil in 1 month(which would have passed some of the fastest selling games ever. Thats a F-ing crazy prediction

They need to stop spending so much on advertising...Look at Dark souls...That game had very little advertising but by word of mouth sold a little over 2 mil.

but it looks like they are just gonna stop getting out quality titles like sleeping dogs, hitman, tomb raider and move to the casual market with mobile games...Anyone expecting Sqaure-enix to help push the JRPG industry is dreaming.
