It's time this person re-evaluate his life choices.

And maybe we should give indie games a chance.

i got Dust off Steam sale and played it for a bit. Kinda bores me. All enemies are all like non-threatening. It feels like one of those combo driven action games where the fun in it isn't really to fight enemies but to chain combos. Fighting those 3 big guys was kinda fun though. I guess they would be the first boss of the game. Also seems really linear too. Just running from left to right nonstop. My fear of it being a level based game pretending to be a metroidvania is true so far. We'll see though, i'll keep going for now and maybe it'll open up after a while. .

I miss my Gameboy along with all the other consoles I used to own. This future generation will never know what it's like to have to blow in a cartridge so it could play. I feel so old.

LMAO

I always did that a lot, but I learned that wasn't always the best idea. But yeah this generation way too spoil in terms of tech.

Why wasn't it always the best idea? And this generation embarrasses me a bit.

When you blow air from your mouth it releases moisture. And cartridges had some components made with copper, which can be susceptible to moisture.

Basically tend to do more harm than good. Though for some people it wasn't a big deal.

Things are definitely easier/better technology wise for this generation of gamers. Don't complain about battery life unless you're playing on a gamegear.

True, always had to carry around a spare pair of AA batteries for the Game Boy cause I would play that thing for half the day.

the gamegear needed 6 AA batteries and that would only get you a few hours  :derp:

gameboy's battery life was way better than the gamegears. I only had 2 games on gamegear. MK1 and a sonic game, i forget which.
