I'm not surprised by this. Capcom has been having a hard few years. Aside from Monster Hunter and Street Fighter, its been a tough situation with them. Problems range from refusing to make good titles based on current ip's, making drastic changes, poor marketing, etc.

Its hard to say what will happen. But I really do hope for better things from Capcom.

damn another THQ situation.

I was thinking the same as well.

I'm hoping it doesn't happen, but I wouldn't be surprised as well. I would prefer if someone was to buy capcom, they buy most if not all their ips. Because at least you can feel its still a capcom game and not by someone else. Though that would be alot of money to fork over.

I finally got a chance to play Dust: An Elysian Tail. I download it for free last month on Xbox, but couldn't get to it since I had some other titles to play.

And I wish I got to it sooner. Its both a fun and beautiful game to play, and plenty of content for its value if you pay for it. And it has a great sense of subtle humor to other games.

The only thing that might turn people off is that the character designs are like that of Disney anthropomorphic animals. Also backtracking can be a pain at times. But those are the only nitpicks.

how is the map? what i mean is how metroidvania is it?

Most of these so-called metrovania games that have been coming out have been really halfassed to me and using the term when it's pretty linear. Games like Outland for example. Pretty linear game and almost no reason to revisit areas unless you're trying to get collectibles. I got the same feeling when i played the demo for Dust. So is there a big map to explore and a real metroidvania?

FINALLY I finished the main story for Xillia (and most of the sub events and optional bosses)!

I might actually do the second play through for Milla just for the lulz.

I feel so accomplished, now I can go through the feels and play my X-and X-2 remaster.

I think we should have a rate and review thread for games, maybe I should make one

I've played about 6 hours into the game so far. I've only finished one chapter at the moment. There are still a number of areas I've yet to access, due to some requiring certain abilities, which I haven't gain yet. But if I was to take a guess its a pretty decent map. Though until I finished it, I can't make a fair assessment on it.

Make one. I want to give my 2 cents on some games I've beaten.

EDIT: Can we have a directory for the gaming threads?

I can make one later today or tomorrow.

The bad news is, I couldn't find Guilty Gear at any of the Gamestops I went to. The good news is, I will be able to buy BlazBlue.

A lot of them are older titles, I'd be surprised if you can fine one at GS.

Though I think Amazon is probably your best bet if you want to find one.

Does anybody here listen to the Nintendo Voice Chat podcasts that IGN puts out? I just recently found out about them, and I have just become so obsessed with them. IGN has always had such a bad rep when it comes to Nintendo, and for good reason too, their Nintendo coverage used to suck, and was just downright biased against the company. But I recently went back to the site, just because I have some time now, and the podcasts that are out are just SO good, they're filled with a lot of interesting information, and for someone like myself who really loves all the Nintendo franchises, it's just great to keep up to date with the news. Plus the IGN Nintendo team right now just seems really dedicated, organized and are putting out a lot of in depth and interesting content that just was never there when Audrey was heading it.

Problem is, I'm not close to ANYONE who likes Nintendo games as much as I do, and by extension, no one else I know listens to this podcast

I thought about Amazon, but I wasn't sure.

Amazon is pretty good most of the time. But a lot of older used games tend to be sold by seller that is under Amazon. Check their reviews and see if their a reputable seller. Usually ones with a large number of reviews are better.

Oh, okay. I remember my mom getting a few things from there, so I might ask her about it.
