Is anyone else really excited about Transistor being released on Tuesday? Supergiant Games's previous game Bastion was utterly superb and this promises to be more of the same but even better. I already pre-ordered it on Steam, can't wait for 20 May.

Much so, though I haven't bought it yet. Everything I've seen of it, aesthetics, sound, mechanics, systems just seem great.

Much so, though I haven't bought it yet. Everything I've seen of it, aesthetics, sound, mechanics, systems just seem great.

Me three! Although I do think that the two games are going to be markedly different from a game play perspective. Based on what we've seen so far, Transistor seems to be much more of a tactical game than Bastion, which rewarded the players mechanical prowess.

I really hope Nintendo announces some good stuff at their E3 Direct, they desperately need to help the WiiU

if kart can't save wii u... i don't know what will. initially, i thought smash would salvage the console, but nintendo's decision to stagger the release between the 3ds and wii u over the span of 6+ months is going to kill a lot of the hype.

 

i really hope we more information regarding X. we know so little about that game. :(

 

 

my initial run through of transistor was surprisingly short, but i think i'll need to play it again through recursion mode before i can develop a solid opinion on it.

EDIT: Oh didn't see this posted above me lol, got too excited there. I do really like his older and beefed up appearance from Radiant Dawn. Good to see they aren't neglecting the veterans.

I'm sure Ike fans will be happy but I was hoping for Chrom or the female 'Marth' (whose name I can't remember rn) but whatever. FE still gets two reps in SSB.

 

Also, would anyone recommend Chrono Trigger for the DS? I hear it's an RPG classic but that maybe be nostalgia glasses on tight.

I've finished it now (actually two days ago) and I have to say it's very, very good but also very, very short. The ending is stellar though.

FE will get a 3rd rep, I bet my right arm. I'm 100% sure it will be Chrom. And the female Marth you mentioned is Lucina, but I don't see her getting in over Chrom.
