Wonder if any psvita owners can help me here or those in the know. Im planning on buying a psvita in the near future but I keep reading complaints about the overpriced memory cards and people running out of space even on 32 GB ones. Im assuming that these are cases when people just try to fit every game they download on the card at once right?

 

I mean I'll download some games from ps store and buy physical copies and don't plan on putting all my downloads on the memory, just a few and transfer them off once I finish them so memory shouldn't be a problem?

yes that's what most people do. It's pointless to put every game on your memory card. Just put the ones you are going to play. When you're done with it delete it and put something else. Re-dl it when you want to play it again. 32gb might not even be necessary because of this. Depends how much games you want to on your vita. If you're the type of gamer that sticks to one game at a time a smaller one would suffice.

 

i don't have a vita but i have a psp. And it's pretty much the same thing for any electronic device actually. I have to delete albums from my mp3 player whenever i want to add new ones...

That sounds good then, it was just all the complaints that were worrying me. Yeah I think I'll generally stick to 2 or 3 games at a time, since the games I plan to get arent really pick up and play games, more rpgs or adventure games and I dont want to follow too many different stories at one time.

Yeah, I'm sure there's many more experienced rpg-ers here than me though, but it is one of the reasons I'm getting the vita.

 

Mainly to relive my final fantasy days with the ff x and x2 remaster, not to mention the ps1 ff's

 

Also because I want to play persona 4 golden since I keep hearing such good things about that game and I never played it before and ys memories of celceta. I thought about conception 2, but the story seems a little..odd?

i love the original Persona 4 and i heard Golden is the best version of the game. It's definitely worth checking out even if you end up not liking it. I want to play that Ys game. It's made with the same systems as Ys Seven which i thought was really good. Plus Falcom games have amazing rock + violin OSTs. Falcom JDK Band is pretty awesome.

Definitely get P4G, it's a really good game.

The story of Conception 2 is shallow as hell, get if you're only interested in the gameplay (which is good).

 

Also, about the memory card thing, if you're playing a few games at a time, you should have no problems.

Thanks, definitely helps to not worry about the bigger memory cards, some of the prices seem crazy.

 

do you have any opinion on the oled vs lcd screen debate?

EU version of South Park: Stick of Truth depresses me ={ So many fun-sounding censored mini-games, at least the censored screen is funny.

 

 

I can't believe they thought have a boss fight under your parents having sex and then getting crushed by your dad's balls were okay, but anal probing and abortion wasn't, from what I've seen from the youtube clips, the parent sex fight was much MUCH more explicit.

i'm not sure but i think so. I think the newer one is rounder, which is what the bottom one looks like. 

 

If you really want to be sure you could check what model version your's is and look it up. The original one would be PS Vita 1000 and new one 2000.

Not happy that there's no real Emotion, Paradigm Shift or High Voltage :(

 

But I'm so happy that the Dissidia and 012 Final Trailer themes got in because they're both amazing
