New is boring as hell.

 

@SMT fans: Would you guys like to see Persona 5 move back towards the P3 and P2 kind of vibes in terms of the story and overall atmosphere/feeling? I liked P3 FES a lot more than P4 Golden and I kinda want P5 to go back to that vibe. P4 was a good change though. Also do you guys think that any future Persona games will ever step out of the high school environment type mold? I think it'd be cool if there was a game with a university/college type environment.

 

Anyways has there been any news besides the trailer and the confirmed themes for P5 yet? Or DeSu2: Break Record...

in terms of atmosphere/tone, yes very much. And by the looks of the logo and teaser it looks like that's what we're getting. But gameplay wise P4 is better than P3 in pretty much every way. I don't think the Persona series will ever leave the highschool setting. It's been that way from the beginning and the high school setting is very popular for all things japanese, just look at anime, dramas, and jpop idols. 

 

I wouldn't mind if P5 left out the calendar structure. I do like social links but i can see them ditching that too. If they can work social links in a different way without the daily calendar, i would be fine with it. 

 

I don't think there's been much new info about it.

And yeah the gameplay for P4 is overall better than P3 although I do miss some elements that P3 had, the dungeons in P4 were more varied which kept it fresh. Looking at Tartartus for the whole damn game until the set of floors right before the last boss got annoying.

 

I hope the English release will be as fast as they did with SMT IV. Hopefully, SEGA doesn't mess with that...

Sega has said that Atlus will continue doing their own thing and they won't interfere. Let's hope they really mean that and it's not just talk to keep the fans from being too worried.

 

They also said Atlus is free to use Sega IP for a new game if they wanted to. I saw a lot of people getting excited at the possibility of an Atlus developed Phantasy Star game.

I'd like a story on the level of P1/P2 with the gameplay of P4. The highschool thing is a recurring theme and I have no problem with that. Other then that, I'm waiting for the PS Vita version.

 

 

Gameplay looks nice, might actually get it now.

I love the game. It does have a slow start though.

 

I don't slow starts considering how long it took me to get into Xillia,

 

I've been addicted to this World of Mystic Wiz app on my tablet lately, it's really weird but highly enjoyable considering you answer trivia to attack :lol:

So I finally finished the Final Boss of Lightning Returns

 

 

Thank god for the Elixir I had so I could spam Overclock to finally Stagger Bhunivelze 4

It's a nice ending to an unnecessary trilogy. But hey, at least now we know for sure that there won't be a 4th game, with the removal of the 'Fantasy' elements at the end.

HyunA, the superstar Korean singer, has been signed to be Netmarble’s 2D sidescrolling brawler game Mystic Fighter’s promoter. She looks like she’s gigged up in the game’s Swordswoman class!

HyunA is serious star power to be rolled out for a game that’s just hit open beta in Korea. It’s kind of like when Beyoncé promoted Rhythm Heaven—that’s how big songstress HyunA is.The punchy punchy old-school game will also be coming out in China.

 

Mystic Fighter itself harks back to old school side-scrolling bashing. Some of the classes include a Vampire, the Swordswoman and… an Armored robot.

 

Mystic Fighter is in open beta now in Korea on PC.
